Awesome place! Went riding the Santos Trails for the first time and a gentleman told me to check out the Vortex. I’m glad I did, this place is so much fun. We took a break from riding our bikes and had our lunch at the picnic tables that they have on site then checked out the bike course. There is something for everyone here, from beginner to advanced. Have fun, wait your turn & WEAR YOUR HELMET!!!!

Falling apart jumps and drop offs. Trails are ok maintained in some areas. A lot of rocky rooty climbs. But, some really cool spots to try too. Worth checking out, but preview your runs if you can. Some stuff is closed due to disrepair.

Pretty much the predominant extreme sports/MTB location in Ocala. Trails and jumps are maintained, but aren't always in great shape. Wear a helmet. Don't get lost. Bring adequate water. You'll survive. I go weekly.

Sorry about “why “lol I means .. is this place still open 😅😅but thanks for the answer dude
there are some running trails. if you visit on a monday or tuesday you will have access to most of the best areas with limited riders. Rattlesnake, Dan Brown, Sink hole and Cow bone..
There is no longer a bike store across the street fyi
Do you need high end mountain bikes to do some of these trails thinking about making a trip there.Didn’t know if basic mountain bikes would be ok there for Beginners
The trails there trends to be progressive, with a moderate test followed more difficult features. Use good judgement, and don't try things that will get you hurt but ride based on your ability not your age. My 61 year old dad and my son when he was 5 have both ridden there, but both spent a lot of time on the bike, and my son walked sections that were beyond his level at the time.
