The trails there trends to be progressive, with a moderate test followed more difficult features. Use good judgement, and don't try things that will get you hurt but ride based on your ability not your age. My 61 year old dad and my son when he was 5 have both ridden there, but both spent a lot of time on the bike, and my son walked sections that were beyond his level at the time.

Last time I was there a sign on the gate stating that anyone under 17 had to wear helmets and protective gear. It also stated that the decisions you make out there will determine whether you ride back or are carried out. I'm 64 and have riden all of it. Some of it wasn't much fun jist like a couple places at Alafia near Balmboyett

It's open to all ages but make sure that children ride within their limits. Some of the trails are pretty challenging.
