We are looking for a day camp where we can pull in with a very long 60 ft stock trailer. No animals on board. Would the area and sights permit access and wide area to turn around?

You would have a very hard time turning around. You can bring your trailer, but you must park it in the side of the road. There is not a ton of space to turn around so I would try to shoot for something smaller, and not as long.
If you really want to see some great fall colors look up a road called Mormon immigrant road it runs between highway 88 and highway 50 for about 20 miles you will see the most amazing fall colors this time of year. Enjoy!
Senior poppy pass covers parking ( to most if not all ) CA state parks only. National is for the big federall reserves\parks only. It may go by a different name then your question. PS ...CA 4th graders now to get 5th grade get in national parks free for 2018!
Besides the drought excuse, there's must be other reasons why the water level decreased greatly does anyone else who truly cares know? Tia

It doesn't rain enough in California anymore. It's called climate change. Look for water levels and wildfires to continue until humans address this issue
Yes, we see a trailer in the lake, looked like they have been there 2 or 3 days, they will let water out of hell hole or french medows, if we dont get enough rain, please check be for you go. Dale
Speed limit is also 25mph around the entire lake...California Sportsman radio show on KHTK 1140 am Saturday 6-8am usually has some good fishing info..6-630 am is kent brown who mainly talks bass..maybe that will help.. could also check their website for the show..I've been out to the lake few times in last 2 weeks and I see people/boats out fishing..so do what you want with that limited infor..tight lines!!
Hey Alberto, I'm not sure if the park actually answers this Google listing. What do you mean by full? It's a big park, my family was there last week and it was plenty big to accommodate a lot of people and a good distance apart.
Both are good folsom you can go on the kayak to the open. and swim on the beach, just go to Beal's . and natomas you can go along the river and has nicer views natomas has fewer places with sand to swim
If you get Uber, how do you plan to get back? They probably won't drive in to pick you up. You would be there without transportation. As the other person said, you would have to hoof it!
Maybe not officially, but you can still navigate through where the rock fall occurred. There are now very well defined paths...at your own risk, of course.

How long does it take to go from Beal's point Marina to Peninsula campground via water in a ski boat?

That is a very specific question. I wish I could assist, but I've never been on a ski boat. 🤷
There are camping sites for RVs at Beals Point, Folsom Lake off Auburn-Folsom Road. There are several parking sites for vehicles towing boats, but I don't believe you can set up RV in these spaces for camping. Granite Bay off Auburn-Folsom Road and Douglas Blvd. may have RV spaces for camping. Recommend searching CA state parks online.
When are you guys open , and how many hours a day .

Park is open until 10 PM during daylight saving and 7pm in daylight standard time.
Is there full RV hook ups at Folsom Lake SRA?
Mary Tozer | Sep 15, 2019
Ted Wolfe | Sep 15, 2019
That might depend on which part of the lake you are at. Some spots definetly, no.
Are they open on labor day?

It's difficult to navigate as a tourist/visitor not knowing the areas road restrictions and how that will affect our visits to and from the lake. Where traveling from 3027 Waterman Ct

Generally there are no road restrictions at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, except that it generally closes at Dusk.
And also just wondering.... Is it an awesome lake to swim in?

Not sure I would say its an awesome lake to swim in, but its okay. Some parts are better for swimming than others, just depends on which beach you go to.
The less crowded beaches between Beals Point and Granite Bay are usually the best to throw a line out on the water, as less people means less noise and less disturbance for any small fish that are present in Folsom Lake. Some people go on their boats and fish from the middle of the lake but less crowded shorelines are the next best spots. Other good places include Michigan Bar further down the American River.
There are many designated areas for barbecues like you said but if you have a self-contained barbecue I'm sure you won't get hassled. They just frown upon fires
As far as I know there are no restrictions. You're probably okay as long as you don't fly it near the dam i would think. I have seen people at the lake with them....
I'm pretty sure as long as you don't go making it a nuisance by flying it around and bugging people or pushing your luck flying near the dam the FAA and authorities should not have a problem with it.
There is a company, in the Granite Bay corner of the lake next to the launch ramp, that offers rentals of various styles of boats, ski, bass, deck/pontoon, wave runners etc.., although kinda pricey from what i remember. And at Brown's Ravine(Folsom Marina) they rent pontoon boats.
