I recently stayed at the Showboat for two nights. Check in was a breeze, and the employees had great attitudes. The hotel is very nice— it has that vintage casino vibe! VERY pet-friendly. I saw so many people with their dogs; I’m definitely bringing mine next time. The room was very clean, and the shower was awesome. I’m usually left unsatisfied with hotel showers, but the Showboat’s was fantastic. The hotel is right on the boardwalk; just a few steps and you’re on the beach! Everything is within a short walking distance. Overall, I had a great stay and will definitely be coming back!

Check in was a little slow. Ended up making a long line. Rooms are OK. TV remote didn't work. Location is good. Right on the boardwalk. There was also a crumbled cookie on the floor in one of the rooms by the window I booked. Cleaning could be more thorough. One final issue on checkout. They tacked on a valet charge even though I self parked. In summary service needs work. Cleaning needs to be more thorough and on the financial side they need to be more thorough. They could also be faster.

I am not pleased with the stay we had. First I had to drop my shoulder into the door to open it cause it was hard to open. So I am sure our neighbors loved hearing that big noise every time. Our toilet did not flush nothing would go down. When my boyfriend asked how much parking was the lady at the front desk said read the signs outside. Really she could not tell us how rude. We were parked at the ocean resort cause we stayed three nights there and booked our last night at Show Boat. So we came in from the boardwalk to check in then went to go get our van just to see that it’s $25 to park for hotel guests. We drove right back to ocean resort and will pay $10 instead. Our shower head was broke. Let’s just say it’s not worth the money we spent to stay there. I get price is high cause it’s on the boardwalk and in June but I feel we deserve better. Not coming back!

I love this place, I've stayed several times over the years. The rooms are really clean, the staff is friendly, and so far every room I've stayed in has a great view of the beach. I love that they're pet friendly so I can always bring my dog with me, and this hotel is right in front of the boardwalk so we can do lots of beach walks! The drinks at their bar are pretty good, and the food from their restaurants as well. Everything was very reasonably priced. Overall a very nice experience every time we come here!

Update on 6/27/19. They have a new fitness center called Matrix That installed an olympic size pool.
Oh yeah..one vodka drink hit 20 bucks
no show boat is not connected . in fact show boat isn't even a gambling spot anymore, its family themed now
Any bank card will do. Dont think they will accept the prepaid card.
Yes, CERTAIN establishment DO stay available at LIMITED capacity... PLEASE, understand. This is NOT Vegas. (THINGS CLOSE) (NO ALCOHOL after 10PM😔) and law inforcement, gets a lil "overzealous @ late night... That's good and bad... Your best bet is to get a few opinions and keep your options open. To be honest. You'll have the BEST experience, in the casinos, and even better as a VALUED player or tourist... They're REALLY REALLY REALLY big on those memberships and perks... And in that sense, it's maybe even a lil BETTER than Vegas... Any questions... PLEASE, ask specifically because people places and things ALWAYS change. It can never hurt to stay updated and current... It's vital. Atlantic City is a GREAT place to visit. Hope to see you there!!!
If you're staying at the Showboat the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is connected via an escalator and short walk through the parking garage. Otherwise you'll have to deal with the elements and either (if you exit the Showboat Hotel to the boardwalk) take a left for a short walk to the Ocean Casino or grab a "tram" a see the sights as you take a ride towards the rest of the casinos surrounding the Boardwalk's Other attractions like the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum and much much more. Enjoy!
I just stayed with my 3 kids and they loved it there.
There is mini golf too. It was my first time and we only walked through and seen what was in there. Didnt play anything
Parking is currently $15 a day
Yes no laundry room !! But yes refrigerator
Yes, it's about $25 per night and you can pull the vehicle in and out without any extra charges.
Yes there is an outdoor pool on the roof of the hotel. And there is usually a DJ at the pool and kiosk where they serve light refreshments.
Yes
I was just there this wrekend....it is open but just a hotel...no casino at this hotel
Free wifi available, get password at front desk - great value for casino quality accommodations although hotel only now. Book direct online. Right next door to new Hard Rock & Ocean casinos. Stayed there 2 weeks ago.
All balcony suites have adjoining rooms. The balcony is okay, the room is a little bigger...but, the higher up you are, the more balconies you see under you. If you care about privacy or noise on your balcony, i don't think its worth it
The rooms are what I'd call "you get what you pay for". They are pretty good overall.
My room was fine,we stayed a couple of weeks ago,had no bed bugs, are you sure you didn't bring the bed bugs with you????
Yes you can walk onto the boardwalk. All open casinos on the boardwalk you may stroll onto the boardwalk.
At this moment there are no plans to reopen any casino gambling at the showboat. If that were to change it would be many years down the road if at all
I don't know the deposit for animals but I did notice several guest with animals.
They have valet parking here.
Maybe...You need a card to hold your room and they take a deposit for the time you stay, which is refunded when you check out. So I'm thinking maybe not.
wuz my 1rst job...Really dnt kno wat the hotel side is..30 yrs ago ...Wuz great??????
It is the old and new building difference....so you better stay at bourbon tower which is the new one ....the old one they are renewing it now
Yes they allow pets at Showboat. I don't know what will happen as the place changes into the new Showboat, but I have seen people with pets all week from May 1st-June 1st
Don't stay on the New Orleans side its going through renovation.
If you are referring to the arcade on the steel pier then yes , the showboat does not have a arcade though, and the casino is no longer there, the closest one is hard rock.
Theu say up to 2 pets with a 50.00 charge im assuming yes but all animals need to be leashed
No there's no nightclub at Showboat.
and
I was just there two weeks ago and they did indeed have mini fridges and microwaves in the room, a little coffee maker too
The no longer have airport shuttle
I never spoke with anyone there I booked it threw booking.com
There is a gym, not sure if you have to pay extra.
No. I don't think any hotel would unless it's a time share.
It's on the boardwalk. Closer to the north side than the south side. Like around New York Ave.
Yes it is - a few feet from Hard Rock - beach is right out the back.
The gambling ground on the first floor was ruined. Breakfast should be served in the restaurant on the first floor.
Depends on the day of week you're staying. I stayed on a weekend and it was $15.00 for hotel guest. And $20.00 for non hotel guest. That price is supposed to be for 24 hours but isnt. No matter what time you get there you have to be out by 1:00pm the next day.
No
Casino, yes. Pool, no. Need to have card access
The rooms are decent...they are not new though
I agree with Mike... On site is way over priced, but there is cheaper near the venue!
Maybe if you speak to them. If not their parking is not far from main entrance. Just leave your stuff in there. And check in at 3 or when you are done with the event
Yes there is a fee. You can call ahead to inquire about those fee's. I believe I payed one flat rate for the length of time I was there with my dog.
Yes, just do a Google search for stores nearby. You can also get various items in the CVS and Duane Reade which are nearby as well.
There is self parking which you pay, and you can retrieve your car as many times as you want in a 24 hour period (unless you pay for multiple days of parking). You can also valet your car which is more money, plus tips.
Pay parking can be easily located in the down town and if you are staying at hotels prefer self park than valet it's almost the double priced
Idk good luck with that call up. But u might have to pay extra for that
The Showboat is no longer a casino, just a hotel. However the hotel is located in between two casinos.
To purchase? Rent? Stir fried?
I will be down Easier weekend , is that good weekend or should I change it ?
Go over her head! I would call corporate office and demand answers as well as a refund!!!
Just call to the hotel
We just played putt putt there. They are open as a hotel
We had a Balcony suit and it was amazing, no casino, but walk or taxi a few minutes and you can gamble
There is a small fridge and coffee maker in the room already.
Go to Trop to eat 🍅🌽😉
Does Not have room service...very empty. But great price just for room
Yeah they are short staffed and they are doing a mother's day concert down there this weekend so just be patient and keep trying
No. But I recommend the self park because valet was slow. I would choose another hotel this one sucks
There is no casino anymore. Just a giant hotel with an empty first floor
Is it safe to walk from showboat to hard rock for a concert & vice versa? ( if the concert is over 11 or 12 pm? )
They've had 4 owners in 6 years. Avoid at all costs.
Dont know curtains and all are hotel branded
