At this moment there are no plans to reopen any casino gambling at the showboat. If that were to change it would be many years down the road if at all
The showboat is not open for casino only hotel. They are trying to do kid friendly things.
Some elevators are disabled do to Construction and yes casinos and other abandoned places will reopen just give it time. its still fun out there and there are other casinos still open
I was told they cann open the casino for a year, it is a bit of a ghosttown, but I like the fact that you can't go up in the elevators without a room key
The Showboat's owner Bart Blastein has recently applied for gaming license for the property. Possibly 2019. The gaming floor and associated areas, though mostly unused, are kept clean and fresh while the Showboat goes through this non-gaming phase.
Bedbugs
Management is planning to open more of the building with entertainment
The Showboat and other strong casinos are up and running. The elevators being down is due to maintenance or renovations.
No. And because they lead to nothing.
