These moments captured are the bliss to loving the one in a new magical land for the both of us . Both with our own visions and personal experiences to share this memory together is abundance. The abundance of new love and new adventures conquering together. Getting here was easy and the walk from the parking lot was super smooth fast short distance . Anyone can come on the pathway super accessible for all . The epic sounds of the waterfall I wish to capture to replay that ! I miss it

Brilliant - Spectacular! Photos do not do this picturesque area justice. Lulu loved the view from the rim, however, dogs aren’t allowed on the trails. Still, she appreciated the 139-foot, 42-to-48 degree namesake waterfall that runs at a MINIMUM of 100 million gallons of water a day year-round. The water is crystal clear and blue to turquoise. Five to ten year old water trickles thru the paholhoi, or ropy lava. As Teddy Roosevelt said these falls are “truly a wonder of the world.” One of the first California Sate Parks established in 1929.

I have been coming here for most of my life. Burney falls is a fantastic place! There are hiking trails, lake access, and camping areas. The falls itself is an awesome sight. There is an overlook and then a trail that leads all the way to the bottom. You can get right up to the base of the pool. This is a place to visit for the whole family. The gift shop has plenty of keepsakes and even soft serve ice cream!

Where do I even start. I’ve been wanting to go to Burney Falls since foreverrrr ago and never had the time because it’s far from me… but let me tell you it’s def worth the drive! The entrance is only $10 per car and it’s valid until sunset.😊 If you’re putting it off this is def not a crazy hike it’s more of a misty walk down to the fall. If you do keep going the Falls loop that is all uphill but we’ll worth it.😊 The restrooms are located by the general store. They were really clean. We did get there at 8am and there was hardly people def recommend to be early to avoid the crowds.

All these answers arent entirely correct. Dogs are allowed on leash to the overlook area. You cannot take them down to the base of the falls. So... dont bring the dogs. We found out the hard way and paid $8 just to go to the crowded overlook and leave 5min later.
No its on space available but will be cold up there, summer yes reservations a must
There are cabins in the park; they can be reserved at the website for Recreation Resource Management. There are also several motels in Burney, California, about 15 minutes to the south of the park. Good luck.
The park is closed to camping; open for day use. There are forest service and private campgrounds nearby. It would be a good idea to check ahead of time.
The campgrounds are closed as of yesterday. Butney lake Beach is open for swimming. Some people wade around the falls. But its a rough trek down over rocks.
Yes, the park has a lovely campground for tents. Go to www.ca.parks.gov; enter McArthur Burney Falls State Park and find the link to reservations. They are most often needed up until Labor Day.. Come and visit! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
The camp sites are not located along the lake but are quite close to the falls. Getting to the lake with the swimming beach can be hiked or a short drive. We look forward to seeing you in the Park. McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
We don't understand the question. Could you rephrase it? McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
Yes there's a $10 dollar fee for parking, which is not bad at all and trust me is worth every single penny. I was surprised it was this cheap compare to other places
Not sure, was there a specific question you have? Maybe we can help answer it.
Fishing in the creek can be good; fishing in the lake can be good. Be sure to check the regulations when you enter the park.
There is an algae problem at the lake. This year seems to have a bit more. We've been the there for over 40 years and never had any issues with it other than being nasty looking. The main beach is usually pretty good.
Boat rentals are handled by the vendor who operates the store and the kiosk at the lake with boat rentals. You can probably reserve, or rent, right there.
The beach and boat dock with rentals are open at the lake. Thanks for asking.
There are motels in Burney, less than 10 miles from the Park.
Just go to national forest and camp
Absolutely. We have been crowded, so getting to the Park early in the day is a very good idea. Thanks for asking.
Lake should be open
Snow shoes are not normally required. However, the trails are not plowed or shoveled, and the loop trail especially can be icy in winter. It's a lovely time to visit the park, but be careful as always and avoid the trails in storms. Thank you! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
The Park website states that it is open 365 days per year
If you can stay below posted speed limits, it should be safe.
Have you been on line to www.burneyfallspark.org, the web site for the Interpretive Association. There are a number of pictures of the park, including one of a typical camp site under 'Activities.' We hope to see you.
Wouldn't recommend it. There's no safe entry point, fast moving and cold water.
Do not bring a firearm into a state park. It is very safe. McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
It's not risky but it's not stroller friendly down to the falls.. u can carry in baby on ur baby carrier bag...
Dogs are not allowed in the cabins and, if found there, an additional fee will be charged. The cabins are managed by a concessionaire, and they will not be available until at least March. Later in the spring, you might want to contact the concessionaire to ask. You should also know that dogs are not allowed on most of the trails in the Park. Thanks for asking! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
There are motels available in Burney, roughly 15 minutes from the Park.
Drones are not permitted in any state parks. We are especially clear about it because of migrating birds. Thank you for asking! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
There are 128 camp sites, 22 of these are cabins Tent and Rv sites can accommodate 8 people, including children. Reservations are wise- go to the web site ReserveCalifornia. We hope you visit ! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
Yes they do, they have recently upgraded for larger RV's and added cabins. The showers are near the campsite. The falls are beautiful and if the campground is full, PG&E rents campgrounds on a first come first serve basis on Lake Britten. I have camped there several times and had a great time.
32 feet is the longest parking area for a campsite at the Park. Thanks for asking. McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
No. It is illegal to cliff jump in a state park, and the penalties for jumping at the falls themselves are even more severe. It is also very dangerous! Thanks for asking. McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Association
yes there are regular campsites with fire pits & place for tents.
It is great to see such a collection of experienced visitors to our beautiful Park. We hope you find it manageable! McArthur Burney Falls Interpretive Assoiation
The entrance fee is $8 per car. However, the state is considering raising it to $10. We are open sunrise to sunset (except for campers) and are open every day of the year. Camp sites are $30 per night, butt will go to $35 per night starting on May 11.
5pm
It's open worth the trip!!!
Less than 25 yards from the main parking lot. No climb at all. If going down closer to the falls it's a easy couple hundred yard walk down. Lots of senior citizens down by the falls.
Good place to see. It is beautiful. Enjoy!
