BEWARE...Do not use BOLTBus. While their prices are misleadingly affordable, their quality and efficiency are deplorable. I have used Bolt reliably for the last few years, when it was the only bus that connected to my town. Now that I have experienced the alternative, I will never be using them again. Multiple times I have had to wait up to 4 hours for my late bus to arrive. When calling customer service to inquire as to the reason, I am usually told that the bus is ‘lost’ or ‘missing’. Sometimes buses fail to come at all, and when they do these rides are frequently over-booked. Bolt’s customer service leaves a lot to be desired. These negative experiences are not few and far between, but rather what I have come to expect from Bolt. On other trips with Bolt I have had drivers fail to announce stops and stopping times, I have seen drivers leave early without passengers, seen them deny passengers based on appearance and on one occasion, demand evidence of legal residence in the United States to board. The ONLY thing Bolt has going for them are their prices and times. Now that other Bus-lines have arrived on the scene, they no longer excel in this area either. Where cheap bolt tickets sell for 10-20 dollars you can ride much more reliable lines for as low as 5 for the same trip. I strongly recommend that if you are debating using BOLT, you invest your time into finding another means of transportation. In the end, the time, money and headache saved will be worth it, I assure you.

I had a great trip, the bus was clean the driver was announcing how far we were to the destination. Very nice bus driver.

I havent seen any pets on board on my rides but not sure what thier policy is.
It is about 45 minutes to an hour away from the airport by public transit.
The Bolt site FAQ states that no one under the age of 16 can ride unaccompanied by an adult. The bus DOES travel between Albany OR and Portland OR.
30, They pack the bus pretty full.
It goes all over much like Greyhound. Please check the website for further details.
On Everett off of Broadway across the street is City Central concern
Same here
The easiest way to pay for your friend would be to book the ticket online with BoltBus. You would put your friends name as the person traveling and use your debit or credit card for payment.
Yes you can pay cash in person. Provided there are vacant seats available. They make several trips a day you may get a seat. Recommend to book online and reserve a seat for yourself.
Good evening! You can buy the ticket at boltbus.com or at the Boltbus mobile app.
I took boltbus about 3 months ago it takes you couple of miles from the airport about a 10-minute drive from there to downtown Portland I had to get a ride from there to the airport or alternatively you can walk for about 2hrs
A better option would be to leave your car at home or a park and ride and take a bus or the max to get there, street parking which does cost and has a max time limit is the only option.
It have not any lokers for the luggage, luggage put under the bus
You are allowed one piece of large baggage that goes under the bus and two small pieces of baggage (i.e. backpack or purse) that should fit in the overhead bins on the bus.
Portland location has changed, but Bolt/Greyhound have yet to update Google. New address is 1060 ne 13th ave - it's just south of the Lloyd Center. The only signage at the old location updating patrons is a janky paper sign taped to one of the road signs.
It's located on the corner of NW Everett in between 8th and Broadway. It's random, there is no shelter from the elements just alot of people waiting.
Also, you can take the max blue line from beaverton tc to the oldtown Chinatown station (approx 35 mins) and take a 5-10 min walk to the boltbus stop
Prices vary quite a bit, even for the same ride. I've paid anywhere from 25 to 40 bucks to get from Bellingham to Portland, and if you walk on, it can be a even cheaper. Best to check online.
The website should say any changes, delays, or cancellations that affect the stop.
I would call customer service or ask a driver on the same route a few days beforehand.
728 NW Everett St is correct. IIRC there's a small sign on a lamp pole. I've taken it three times round-trip over as many months and have no complaints. Bring drinks and snacks as needed, though.
Its pretty hard to do with out the bus start walking downtown to 8th and Everett
