The Bolt site FAQ states that no one under the age of 16 can ride unaccompanied by an adult.The bus DOES travel between Albany OR and Portland OR.
12 years must accomplied by an adult at all times in bolt bus. Greyhound is allowed, but must be seated close to the driver, adult signature upon leaving and arriving for liability issues.
As long as the 12yr-old is accompanied by an adult.
I don't know if Boltbus offers that route. But from what I saw, Boltbus is safe and well organized. Should be Ok for 12 yr old kids to ride.
