Sacramento Steps Forward

I was told by a sacramento steps forward case worker that im no longer eligable for the program all while my case worker (for a different company that works with ssf) told me the company was being disbanded. i then received a notice that I was being cycled out of the program for non contact. This was the second time something like this has happened. Who do i talk to?

These fine folks remind me of Germany, prior to WWII and throughout - "We were only doing our job!" Neither your sentiment nor your diligence will protect your own conscience from yourself, down the line. If you don't recognize that you're part of the scape goat, you should wake up. Must be fun, to board all these meetings that cost the people thousands and accomplish nothing - none of the employees have any idea what homelessness is or have any concern other than a paycheck about the reality. How exciting, staying busy by staying busy! And spending money that goes nowhere it's needed while you get your benefits and per diem and free cellphones, all on our dollar! CoC - crock of chit

Granted they may be short staffed and overwhelmed but no connection from anyone to get help for disabled family members. A waste of my time. The Salvation Army DID call back and help. Take note people .

The squeaky wheel gets the oil... it is a fair program and they will help you if you stick with it, you just have to be on top of them and advocate for yourself, stick with the program it will work
