The only experience I've ever had with WEAVE is as a donor. I believe in their mission and appreciate the work they do.

Ditto! Also you may want to chk with the Arden location. They have a larger section.. so they may accept other items
It’s abuse and extremely damaging to the victim.
Hi Maria - We do need plus size clothing. Donations can be made at either of our retail locations. WEAVEWorks at 2401 Arden Way or TRUE at 1900 K Street. Thank you.
Call the office and schedule an intake assessment appointment.
I work for WEAVE. WEAVE is not a national organization. Every domestic violence and/or sexual assault agency is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. WEAVE is primarily funded to serve victims in Sacramento County, CA.
Grace - I work for WEAVE. We accept women's, men's, and children's gently used clothing in all styles Clients are provided with vouchers to access emergency clothing as well as interview and work attire through our recycled clothing stores and we sell to the public with 100% of proceeds invested into our 24/7 services. Donations can be made at WEAVEWorks at 2401 Arden Way or at TRUE at 1900 K Street. Both stores are located in Sacramento I am unable to respond directly to James' comment but wanted to correct his assumptions. WEAVE's services do not use gender/gender identity as a criteria for any program - including our shelters. 10% of the clients who turn to us for help each year are men. It's unfortunate when misconceptions are perpetuated because it can cause men who are experiencing abuse to feel even further isolated.
I don't believe this would be tour best option. I don't think they have Christmas or baby items there. Primarily women's and men's clothing.
I work for WEAVE. We can accept the vacuum at K Street provided it is in working order. We do not have ability to have it repaired if that were needed. Thank you.
Yes many agencies do even the police in the Sheriff's Department
WEAVE can accept nail polish that is new and still sealed. The agency cannot accepted used or open cosmetics or products.
I work for WEAVE. We can accept a new mattress provided it is in the original packaging and still sealed. Once a mattress has been removed from packaging - even if never used - we are not allowed to accept it as a donation. Thank you so much for thinking of survivors and WEAVE!
Did you ever get help i cant believe no one has said anything to you do you still need help
Sorry, I'm just a reviewer. I suggest you contact the main WEAVE office immediately.
I work for WEAVE and thank you for thinking of survivors! We can accept donations of new and unopened products. Donations can be dropped off at WEAVEWorks Recycled Fashion at 2401 Arden Way, Sacramento on Mondays or Friday between 10 am and 2 pm.

Yes. We can accept all of these items. Donations are accepted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. We recommend calling in advance as we do reach our capacity many days and need to close donations early to be able to safely process the donations. Thank you.
Donations are accepted at the WEAVEWorks location at 2401 Arden Way on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. We are accepting womens, mens, and children's clothing, shoes, and small household items. We do not accept electronics.
I work for WEAVE. If you change the address for it to be delivered to WEAVE as a donation, we can accept it and will provide it to clients. If you are asking us to accept a package and hold it for you we are unable to do so.
I work for WEAVE. Youth under 18 years can volunteer in some areas. To learn more about volunteering at WEAVE, please attend a Volunteer Orientation. Our next volunteer orientation is Monday, November 4 at 6 pm at WEAVE at 1900 K Street, Sacramento. Thank you!

I have business clothes for woman but I don't drive or have access to a car. Will you pick up donations
I don't know too much about the process, but I do know that you have to call and do an "online consultation", they will ask you a series of questions and then determine which program(s) are the best fit for you and your situation.
I work for WEAVE. WEAVE has emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence.
Weave will help you. Just have too call they have services
Yes weave does take furniture
Definitely call WEAVE for help. Also research some of the larger churches in the area. They may have resource information.

We currently accept donations of children's clothing. We cannot accept mattresses (crib or day bed) or used high chairs or car seats. Thank you
WEAVE accepts all gently used attire, shoes, and accessories.
Hi - Thank you for thinking of WEAVE. Because our clients stay with us for 30 days or more on average the full size toiletries work best. We do partner with St. Francis House and recommend hotel size items go to them.
