My dog out of my mothers house for 10minutes and someone called the police. They had him in the kennel in for about 1 hour when we showed up to collect him. They would not allow us to take OUR DOG. Registered with the city and all vaccines. And made him stay the night, now we have flees from them.

Love them but, there service takes all day to be seen. They need more staff.

Yes, spay/neuter surgery is by appointment only, unless it's for a feral in a trap. Surgery days are Tuesday-Friday. Visit https://www.spcavetcare.org/spayneuter for more info.

I was very disappointed with them my dog had a bad eye injury paid to have him seen they didn't even clean his wound or put any ointment on it very disappointed. I took my Fur baby to blue pearl they were FANTASTIC help my baby now he's much better.
I am not sure what they use, I was there with my dog for shots. However they are cheaper than a visit to the vet, very nice place and people are very friendly 😀 sorry I can't answer your questions
No they do not wash dogs but there are some dog wash places around Aiken
Hi yes it's no-kill shelter and IAM not sure about the fee. I would give them call I have seen many pits come and go to new homes there. Hopes this help .thank you
The adoption fee for a cat is usually $75, however we do have adoption specials from time to time. This month, all cats and kittens are just $25.
Yes! Check the website, specifically the part for the Veterinary Clinic, and you can see dates and times. Good luck!
If your in Aiken county and are under the income guidelines they have a voucher program to reduced the cost of spay/nuture to $25 which includes sray/nuture plus microchip and rabies vac for $25. Also sell flea/tick advantage 2 for cats at a good price and several types of flea/tick month chews for dogs and heartworm prevention. Can by monthly or 6 month supply. Not vet visit needed. Cost based on weight...very reasonable If you live within city limits go to public safety (police station) on Laurens they have a similar voucher prograam but nust get it from there and take to vet of choice or here.
My neighbors dog had it and he is a like a new dog. I take my dogs there. They are very nice and not nearly as expensive as a private vet. The best thing to me is I can get a heart worm shot that lasts 6 months wish there was One for fleas and ticks. Try them
Please call the Vet Care Center at (803) 648-6864 so we can answer your questions. Thank you!
You will need to go to the Aiken County Animal Shelter at 333 Wire Road in Aiken. Or call them at 803-642-1537. The SPCA is a private animal shelter contracted with the City of Aiken to take in strays located in City limits only. Thank you.
Not sure. Just call them
I don't think so
I dont know I was there decorating for a party on the other side.
It varies but there are programs that can help with cost depending on where you live
Your dog can get shots starting at 5 weeks old. Parvo can also be transmitted on the hands and clothes of people who pet an infected dog and then touch another dog. The virus is very contagious and very hardy and can survive on the ground in the soil for a year or more. Any breed of dog can contract parvovirus.
To qualify for a low-income voucher, you need to live in the City of Aiken or Aiken County and follow their procedure. Anyone, regardless of where you live, has access to regular priced spay/neuter which starts at $60. Info here: https://www.spcavetcare.org/services
Aspca and the county shelter are no kill shelters. Call them and ask them if they can or go to a vet's office.
Do you have a pic of the kitten
They have a pricing list posted on their website that should answer all your questions. Hope this helps.
Get the voucher from Aiken county and it won't cost much at all for the spay/neutering.
I think it's 12 to 15 dollars
Go to the wire road animal control. Get a voucher. They have a list of vets on the voucher. The spca on willow run road is one of them who takes the voucher. Thank you for being a good furbaby owner!

Hi Leslie, If you found the kitten in the City of Aiken, you can bring him to our shelter at 199 Willow Run Road anytime during business hours. If you found him in Aiken County outside the Aiken city limits, you would bring him to the Aiken County Animal Shelter located at 333 Wire Road.

The SPCA Veterinary Care Center does not declaw cats as it is considered inhumane and often causes pain and behavior issues in cats. It's strongly recommended to look into other options including providing scratching posts and using nail caps.
Yes but if you are in the city they should go to the aiken shelter
Hi Margaret, we do accept owner surrendered pet birds. Please give us a call at (803) 648-6863 to speak with our staff about a good time to bring them in.
Hi Grace, at 7 weeks your puppy can get DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations which together will cost $30. He'll also need deworming and the price for that varies by weight. No need to make an appointment. Our walk-in hours at the SPCA Veterinary Care Center are Tuesday-Friday 1:00-4:00 and Saturdays 8:00-12:00. See you soon!
Yes, please bathe your dog before coming in for any procedure. It would be best to give the bath a day ahead of time because the dog should be totally dry when you bring her in.
The only thing i have been there for is meds and an adoption. But i sure if you call them they can help you with answers. They are a great group of people there.
Call your vet or take her to an emergency vet immediately please!
Hi Pamela, we aren't able to see any wildlife at the SPCA Veterinary Care Center. We would recommend bringing the squirrel to Carolina Wildlife Care. You can reach them at 803-772-3994.

She will be put up for adoption IF they have open rooms. Call before you take her.

Hi Kim! Typically adult cats (6 months and older) have a $75 adoption fee while kittens younger than 6 months have a $125 adoption fee which includes their spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, testing, and microchip implant. We do adoption specials from time to time so check back with us often. (This month October 2018 we are doing $25 adoption fees on ALL cats and kittens!)
Hi Teresa, Unfortunately as a non-profit organization we cannot offer free services. We do however, offer services at an affordable price. The current cost for a rabies vaccination is just $12.
Also, be aware they charge a $25 fee for you to become a volunteer.
Sorry but I forgot u could always call them they are sweet and answer any questions u have
Correct. No food or water. Hope your feeling better
I'd call but don't think there would be a fee.
Hi Rachael, the SPCA Veterinary Care Center is able to take X-Rays. Your pet will need to be examined by one of our veterinarians. The cost for an exam is $40 and the cost for X-rays is $150.
Yes all you'll have to do is go to any one of the buildings and let them know you would like to volunteer and they will be glad to help.
Hi Angel, if the kittens were found as strays, please bring them to the shelter based on the location where they were found. If they were found in Aiken County but outside the City of Aiken limits, please bring them to the Aiken County Animal Shelter on Wire Road. If they were found within the City of Aiken, please bring them to the Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare during our open hours Monday-Saturday 11-5.
Hi Wendy, you can come by the Veterinary Care Center during our walk-in hours Tuesday-Friday 1-4pm and Saturdays 9-3.
Hi Jaiden, if you are interested in adoption, we encourage you to come by and visit with the available pets. Members of the public can interact with the cats and dogs in their rooms, and anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent with them at all times when at the shelter. To help with dog walking and outdoor enrichment, you'll need to join the volunteer team.
Hi Michelle, please visit our Veterinary Care Center which is attached to the SPCA Albrecht Center. We offer vaccinations and nail trims. We would suggest contacting a local groomer for bathing services.
Best to call the center for that.
Swole, As an animal shelter, we are not authorized to seize animals, but we do work with local animal control officers who can. You can contact animal control in your area and discuss with them the need for a welfare check on the animal.
Yes
You have to join. There is a fee that goes towards keeping the park safe and clean.
