I had a great experience paddle boarding at Sandy Hook Kayaks. Staff were great, and explained everything and the equipment was in great condition. The area by parking C on the bay side is perfect as it's pretty shallow and you can see the bottom most of the time especially at lower tide. Paddle Boarding is also a really good workout!

Just bought a paddleboard. Staff is great. Very personable, super helpful, and very knowledgeable. Price was competitive. Overall a great experience. I’d highly recommend.

Since it's a state/ federal park do you need any permit or launch permit?!
No kayak rental was available when i went on wednesday. But if u have ur own kayak, u can go in. We had our own kayak. The place where u can savely kayak is not facing the ocean. No high tide
