I love camping at the BRO. The camp site I visit has everything that a geeky indoor person could want in their outdoor experience. There is a portapotty, a place to shower, and an awesome place to have a kayak adventure. There are even multiple options in difficulty for the kayaking if you don't want to try rapids just yet. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I look forward to returning next year.

Superior service with a smile. These guys will take care of you and yours. The campground is a perfect blend of 'ruffing it' and 'creature comforts'. All the hot water you need for your shower and doing the dishes, combined with fire pits and picnic tables at each site. its great. We are going again.

You get exactly what you pay for, for an incredibly reasonable price. Very nice employees, very direct about what you need to do, and very easy to book. If you want a fairly chill experience, book with them.

Most enjoyable trip down the river. Nature is all around. You can see turtles, hawks and other wild life. It has just the right amount of exhilaration. And there is always a nice refreshing snack at the end. I love going to the BRO!Thanks for the review. Happy to see you're another happy 'camper' [ paddler ]. Let us know if you have any suggestions as we're open for suggestions.

Yes $10 per person
Yes. But be an adult about it. I paddle here often and see far too many folks act like it's their first kegger. Rocks are just as hard when you hit your head after a six pack. Please secure your empties on your kayak and pack them out for those who go to enjoy being outdoors in a clean environment.
Yes but NO styrofoam. A CoolerMule is ideal but they won't let you take styrofoam and glass on the river. Please pack out everything you pack in. If you want to be extra helpful pick up any trash you may see in or on the river. 🤗
Extreme is not in our vocabulary.... our river, while having some very fun but safe Class II rapids, the river only becomes 'extreme' when the river rises to over 10 feet or so which is where the good whitewater paddlers come out to play. We've seen it as high as 27 feet which is where the 'extreme' kayakers are here. FYI: We shut off rentals at 6 ft.
For what purpose ? Assume a trumpet or some such horn ? People do come to the river for a bit of nature and some fun to be sure but that might over the top.
Thank you JJ. If the National Weather Service calls for extreme weather in our immediate area, we will not rent boats and not charge anyone’s Deposit
Its high and fast!
For tubing, check out Slow Water a little further up. I think BRO's stretch is too rough for tubes.
Sorry but we've never measured the temperature. Its definintely warmer than mountain streams. No one has said much one way or the other about the temps so assume reasonable.
You sure can!
