Wish I could give this place zero stars. Do NOT waste your time or money coming here! My group was sent off 2 hours late. We were given poor instructions on where the exit is actually located, no signs of a path/bank area or warnings or even a worker to help guide you in case of trouble. My group missed the exit because of this so continued floating and looking for what we thought would be an obvious exit. Floated for another hour before realizing we were lost. Called Fox Hollow for help and left voicemail multiple times with no response. We finally decided to pull off and find a way out because it was getting dark and no signs of anyone. Had to climb through the riverbank shrubbery and scratched our legs up just to be 5 miles away from the location. Luckily found an Uber back, arrived by 9pm where the lights were OFF and NO WORKERS present. Two other groups had also missed the exit. They had no clue we had gotten lost, let alone cared if we had made it back. They do not care for your safety or well being. Please do not bring your friends or family here. Not a safe place and should be shut down!!!

Leave extra time if you’re going to come here. Parking is limited (which they do warn you about) and very difficult to access (and leave), especially if it’s crowded. The process of getting on the water is not terribly organized, and depending on how fast the river is moving and how quickly people are finishing and how fast the business is able to shuttle tubes back to the start point, expect to wait anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours past your reservation time if their online system overbooks each time slot, with very little communication as to how long you can expect to wait. Once you’re on the river it’s lovely on the right day, though you’re not told much in the way of directions, and the river is understandably not marked by time or distance, as it runs mostly through state and private property. The shuttle will probably be there eventually after you finish, though depending on how many people are also waiting you may need to wait for the next shuttle. The owners/operators seem very nice and doing the best they can, and I wouldn’t say not to patronize this business, but understand what you’re getting into.

My friends and I usually go somewhere else for a 6 hour float day that we love! They were booked the weekend we wanted to go so we tried Fox Hollow River Tubing…this place just did not compare to our usual experience. Online I was made to choose a time, so I chose 10am. We arrived early, just as they requested, and we waited for 3 hours before we got into the water. I paid for a cooler tube but ended up using a regular tube for my cooler so I wouldn’t have to wait even longer for one to become available. The “3 mile float” was in essentially still water. We stopped at the sand bar to kill some time otherwise we would’ve been to the end in 30 minutes. I had a great time with my friends but this place is not worth the price we paid! Save your time and money for a place that is better organized! We definitely will not be returning.

First off, I want to mention how much fun I had today! It was my first time at Fox Hollow, we had a group of 8 and we all had a ball. The staff was super helpful and friendly. And you do not need a reservation on weekdays! Before you give poor reviews maybe you should check out other facilities nearby, because other places give tiny tubes, and/or you have to pay for parking at some places, shuttles at other places, ropes at yet other places. At Fox Hollow it’s actual RIVER TUBING, not a glorified creek or stream tubing and you don’t have to drive 3 hours away to get there. Kudos to your staff, see you again soon!

I've actually been there quite a few times. It is a very small business and they are always busy. They are constantly trying to make improvements but the staff consists of 4 people to handle the load that they get. It is well worth the money and everyone I've taken there loves the experience.
I would to know this too! I have my own Intex River Run tube and just need to know if I can hop in.
It is not required to make a reservation, just be sure and take cash because they do not accept anything else. We went as a small group a few weeks ago and I left a message and they did return my call in the evening the same day. Awesome place and staff are amazingly nice and helpful
I do not know this but would suggest not going here. The tubes they have use were very bad. One had a holein it. They only towed us about 1/5 of a mile to a nasty smelling island and just left is there! Would not recommend this place at all!!!🤬
Do not just show up on a weekend! They are booked, reservation only. Also bring a mask, you're going to be carted to the entry on a packed (prison) bus.
Just show up!
They are on "Island Time" so the best way to get ahold of anyone is to drive there and reserve.
We went last week and also were not able to make reservations. We tried emailing but they emailed back saying reservations are only by phone. We never got in contact by phone and just showed up and it worked out fine, but that was a weekday. BTW they only take cash which was a surprise
You should go tubing today we went there today it's not crowded at all and it's better this time me and my mom and my friend were the only ones that went there you have to go there today it's so nice you don't even have to call just pack up and you can go it's like an hour drive
I am just as confuzed as you all i know is that the voice mail is full but I dont understand why they will not anwser the emails
They open at 8:30 they close at 6:50 and you can call
The tubes are big with a neck support, probably 350 lb.
Yea, float trips every hour till 2-3.
20.00 for the 3 mile and 30 for the 6 mile plus 20bfor a cooler floaty
I wouldn't see why not, but I don't think they have a tube that would support them.
