Great group of people! Polite, kind, helpful, friendly, etc. They helped me carry my kayak to their trailer, gave us river level updates, and a quick safety briefing. Did the four hour float starting from their camping area near horseshoe bend back down to town. Had a few rapids but nothing over level 1. Will definitely be back!

We have our own boats, but we stayed overnight at Twin River's Gala Campground and we also organized shuttle service from Snowden (take out) to Lick Run/Iron Gate boat ramp (put in). They were very responsive and flexible (pre-Memorial Day time period) when setting up the shuttle. The campsite was lovely. The shuttle was extra helpful since they also provided maps and we spent the drive getting extra intel on the river and things to expect.

Lovely team got us in the water for a float at the last minute and the end of the season. We’ve only ever floated in the Midwest, so it was great to get out and canoe on the east coast!
