The facility was fantastic! I’ve never been to a cheese factory before. I really liked the historical timeline. It was beautifully done. The cheese and ice cream was delicious. I wasn’t too happy with the lunch food. I thought it was just okay. The lunch food could have been better. But the ice cream with 30 different flavors made up for it. The free cheese samples also helped to make up for it. This place was BUSY so make sure you are ready to queue up and wait. I definitely recommend checking this place out on your way to the coastline!

First time back in over 10 years. My first visit was as a kid so there were a lot of fun memories tied to visiting again. Plus my family LOVES their ice cream and cheese. It has definitely turned into the “Magnolia Farms” of Oregon. There are a lot of people everywhere. So be prepared for crowds. The self guided tour is nice. It is fun looking down and seeing how the cheese is made. Lots of neat spaces with info on their farming, plus free cheese samples. The gift shop was fun to walk through, anything from t-shirts to mugs. They also have many of their products for sale. I gave it 4/5 because the line for ice cream was astronomical. Ended up not getting any, cause we didn’t want to wait at least an hour, if not longer. If you are a fan of Tillamook, but don’t want ice cream, great for a quick tour and perusing the gift shop.

We have been coming here for years and we're amazed at how it's grown over the years. The tourists have certainly found their way to greatness. Tillamook has certainly found a wide audience as we've even seen their products in markets in Hong Kong. The creamery is a lot of fun. Samples to be had, products a plenty, and the food court serves up some decent food with their own ingredients. A self-guided tour reveals the operation from a mezzanine above and is adorned with placards and signs describing the process. If you're planning on heading up the coast, Tillamook Creamery should definitely be on your list of stops.

My husband had been wanting to come back to the Tillamook Creamery for the longest time and I hadn't been yet. It's hard to make it to Oregon when you move to the east coast! On our last visit home we got a chance to visit and it really is a cool place. I loved that a little bit of the history of the area was incorporated into the tour and the cheese making rooms were impressive. Their shop is huge and has everything you can think of: cheese and snacks, wines, candles, t-shirts, ornaments and SO much more! We grabbed some grilled cheese sandwiches and fried cheese curds (fantastic!) while we were there, but the real star of the show is their ice cream. Luckily for us, they are starting to sell it in Connecticut now 😜 Overall it was a great experience!

Get there early and there should be plenty. We arrived at about 1030/1100 and there were very few casts in the overflow lot. When we left an hour later, the overflow lot was almost full.
Yes... they have all your asking for.
Gift paks! https://shop.tillamook.com/cheese-gifts.html?p=2
Yes its pretty nice
There no tour right know. There's a small self guided tour . It a temporary display untill they build the new visitor center.
Yes
Thank you. Will be going today. Hopefully they will have some.
Yes, we saw dogs outside in the lawn hanging out with their owners eating ice cream. I'm not sure if they're allowed in the building.
Outside yes, there is outside seating and an outside ice cream shop, but not allowed inside
Well, of course. And it comes in a pretty box as well!
You still have to follow Covid-19 safety protocols, but yes, it's a self guided tour.
Some items are up only for a limited time sadly. It's kinda like pumpkin spice drinks. They're only around during a certain part of the year. But when I was there in July, they had rocky road ice cream.
You can do a self guided tour whenever you want.
Only thing free is a sample
Pets are not allowed inside. Pets are allowed outside. Service Animals are allowed inside.
Because it is only produced in the summer.
Yes it is. Displays, samples, gift shop, ice cream and restaurant. Open Sunday too
I think I saw them there last time I was there
No reservations needed, masks yes
You're eating your ice cream too slowly.
I also am not sure. What I am sure about is that they would be happy to answer your questions about shipment to Canada. I believe when we took the self-guided tour last week but that was in the signage on the wall in the self-guided tour was that they shipped all over the world
They pretty much ship anywhere but it's costly. Might be better off ordering their items from a third party who already has shipping setup.
Available there
There is a self guided tour. You can read all about the process at the farm and you can see everything else from the viewing deck. Anything else being the cheese baking process in the factory. There are videos as well as hands on activities. As far as sing the whole factory, I'm not sure.
Its usually open seven days a week. Hours vary and yes you can have a self guided tour
I'm assuming they will be open
Yes
They are open. I couldn't confirm hours butwould guess regular winter hours 8a to 6p
I was there yesterday, and unfortunately they don't. This is what they had: Banana split Caramel butter pecan Caramel toffee crunch Chocolate Chocolate peanut butter Chocolaty chip cookie dough Coffee almond fudge Jam packed sugar cookie Marion berry pie Mountain huckleberry Mint chocolate chip Old fashioned vanilla Orange sherbet Oregon dark cherry Oregon hazelnut salted caramel Mudslide Udderly chocolate Vanilla bean Vanilla chocolate chip White chocolate raspberry yum Cookies and cream
Yes. At our ice cream bar we sell a Dairy Free Mango Sorbet. Just ask the cashier or your server and they'll get it. It's in our freezer and we use a brand new scoop every time so no cross-contamination occurs. Hope this helps!
It was open today. There aren't any fires in the area. It was packed with people!
Men recommends pooperoni, women just want cheese. Combine them together you may get pizza. Science!
Yes. They have a temporary visitors center open with the cheese tasting, gift shop & food court.
Oh yes, they have made sure you exit through the gift shop...and ice cream scoopery.
Tillamook Creamery is only closed on major holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. The Tillamook Creamery does, however close early on certain days such as New Years Eve and Christmas Eve.
You can just walk in, you need a mask though.
Park and visit
Tillamook Creamery does not accept EBT card as a form of payment.
I don't work there, but was told it's fine as long as it's unopened and not kept someplace hot.
I saw it at the creamery when I went for the tour.
Fish market at the Pier
How about just calling them? This isn't facebook
Sometimes things change I think?
All meat sticks matter, no matter size and girth...
Free, self guided. Wait was about 35 minutes for me, though we could've gotten in line about 15 minutes before open and would've probably had no wait
Self guided.. you walk around and look down on the factory floor then you have the souvenir shop with food and walk out through the food court. We waited 30 minutes inline outside... You can also just go and get Ice cream or food from the food court without waiting in the main line.
The Creamery has restricted entry with no reservations at this time. Cheese sampling and indoor dining are not allowed at this point.
The Creamery does have an ice cream shop that will serve you a scoop of your favorite flavor. A little expensive.
Doubt it very much..... Just get a big cooler and put the ice cream in buried in ice, put the ice cream in a zip lock bag so it doesn't get wet.... Besides I think they aren't open, I was by there last week and the place was barricaded.
No
We didn't have a reservation, we were there as they opened and were in quickly after they opened.
For a tour, dining or to make a delivery?
There is room for it in the gravel lot, but I am not positive if it's allowed.
They are open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas
Cheese curds, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, fries and I think they had hamburgers, yogurt smoothies and a good selection of ice cream. The soda fountain had local sodas, cream soda root beer and coffees.
No.
Yes they are open. They only close on Thanksgiving and Christmas. :)
I believe in Summer it's 730 pm but you can call to check
The tours are self guided. There are many signs with a historical retelling of the creation of the factory and how the cheese is made. They also have some interactive activities for kids.
Definitely call or check their website. They might be open later as well. Lots of visitors.
Call their sales manager
They do have nut free products. Don't know about the processing area sorry. Lots of samples Lots.......
On their website you can enter your zip code and find the ice cream nearest you.
As far as I know there is not, only Tillamook frozen ice cream or ice cream bars.
They have an online store. https://shop.tillamook.com/
They actually sell beer $6 cider $7, white wine $7 and red wine $9. They also have wine in the gift shop.
No idea call them !😁
According to the FAQ's on the Tillamook website, "The Tillamook Creamery is wheelchair accessible. We also have wheelchairs available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis." Hope that helps you, Rikki!
It depends on if you want to read all of the material or just peruse. But my wife and I spent 2 hours with all the reading and watching the production and sandwitches and icecream. :)
https://www.nworegontransit.org/agencies/sunset-empire-transportation-district/
They were closed yesterday for an employee training. It was all over the building over the weekend.
They got 'em... Order the tomato soup and they will put some in there. The first bite is a bit alarming until you realise what it is, then it's wonderful.
Make sure to line your pockets w/ empty ziploc lunch bags! Free cheeeese
Tillamook Creamery is a co-op of different farms. Their retail products don't include goat cheese, but if you visit the Creamery for a meal; they offer custom dishes and cheeses.
I think it's just 8am-6pm on weekdays. Most places have already switched to summer schedules.
You would need to reach out to them for that
Yes from 8am-6pm
Yes call the facility and they will direct u to someone ..the number is on google
Any day during day time it is very busy because it is all good!
It depends what you're looking for, but afternoon although extremely busy is in my opinion the best time to go. If you don't want the hassle of a huge crowd go earlier so you can get through easier without having to fight off a huge crowd.
Change the name of what?
Not sure. They often have small batch items, like horseradish cheese
I was in Tillamook two weeks ago the new visitor center is now open and bigger.
I believe they are open. But closing early due to holiday
According to their website they are only closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Hope that helps. https://www.tillamook.com/creamery/index.html
They are open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Really don't know srry
No reservations required
On their website
I believe there closed Christmas eve and Christmas day, otherwise business as usual
They did when I visited a few months back
The creamery is not open on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other than that it is open everyday. Happy holidays!
They are not open on Thanksgiving and Christmas
I don't believe they do. I worked there as a server from 2014-2017 and they always closed on thanksgiving, Christmas eve/day, and new year too I think
Wouldn't that be great? I hear about Target will be selling a Cheese Advent Calendar. It's not showing in their website yet but we might start seeing them in stores soon.
Tillamook Pacific Northwest Apple Cider is one of their premium varieties and available for a limited time. I saw it when I was at their creamery, but they also have it available in certain grocery outlets too. Here is a link to all of their products. From there, you can select ice cream, scroll down to your choice of Pacific Northwest Apple Cider, click on it and another window will open an scroll down to enter your zip code for nearest stores to you that are selling it. By the way, if you haven't been to the remodelled creamery Tina, it is worth the drive, and the ice cream does taste fresher and better there! Here's your link: https://www.tillamook.com/products/ice-cream/family-sized-premium/pacific-northwest-apple-cider.html
Yes, with a minors working permit and you actually get hired.
No, we asked and they said no gluten free options. We had someone with an egg allergy and they couldn't have anything but fries.
They are fed a combination high quality grains, which includes corn.
Yes it's called rover dog boarding
It is a self tour where you look at the production line from the upper level thru big glass windows. You can walk thru it fast or you can read all the info they have in every station. I did all the reading which by the way was really interesting, and it took me about 30 min. I hope this info is useful for you.
What do you think? It's owned by dairy farmers. So, no. Never gonna happen.
Early morning. Or buy some to stockpile for 2-3 years
Yes it is open, very nice. The best time to visit is in the morning when they open.
I'm not sure. Check the website or call.
No they don't just ice cream in a waffle cone or cup.
They close at 8pm it is a self guided tour.
I was there on Wednesday and I didnt see any. Sorry.
Yes. They have more samples but they're on the second level. The ice cream can be ordered from inside or outside. They offer unreleased flavors. The gifts and food are combined now. More name plate gifts like T hats or Tillamook shirts but way over priced. $30 for a T hat that is free advertisement for them. Really? Parking is far away and mostly gravel.
The cows were protesting the thickness of the slices, they had no choice but to make them thinner. I would contact the number on the package, not the visitor center. May your slices be thick again!
I don't know if they ship it during the hot summer months or not. I would contact them and let them answer that question.
Not sure if they've had their grand opening for the new tour. The temporary building just has a few displays. The old tour was self guided. The new one will probably be too.
There are two options of sugar free or dairy free ice-creams served at the Tillamook Creamery ice-cream department.
For now, it's just ice cream, grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, and soup. In the very near future, there will be a new menu with more choices once the new visitor center opens.
Probably not..tbose are more like aged cheeses like parmesan and such
Maybe by the end of June. I actually heard July.
Yup, the store, ice cream shop, and a small exhibit is still open.
According to the website that was updated March 8th it says they are still on track to open "this summer"
I believe it is scheduled to reopen at the end of June.
Contact the company directly. Check online website
The temporary building is cool. But no tours til july
I believe they are open think they only closed for thanksgiving and Christmas
I think you can find any product and free Myers
The temporary visitor's center will be open. But the new center won't open till July of 2018
Open till 6pm today. Gonna be a big day for them. Lots of peeps at the coast!
Go online to their website. If you're not able to do that look up their phone number and go ahead and give them a call
The factory itself was opened in 1949. The original visitors center opened in 1980 and was expanded a few times. The visitors center was closed to make way for the new visitors center opening in 2018.
I disagree, farmstyle is the best. But maybe they could sell both.
They are still building there new tour facility should be open in the spring I think they open by 8 am
Yes reduced hours
Yes
They do not mail anything. You would have to do this on your own. There is a post office in town.
Not sure, but there are so many samples, I honestly forgot.
No cost for entry to the cheese factory. Btw it is a makeshift building now with museum like exhibits as the real cheese factory floor is undergoing contruction and is not open for public
I'm a Muslim, and I eat the cheese. I think you can eat it too. Not harmful, I promise!!!
Was there a week ago. Sample cheese station and for sale packs are available in the big red barn set up in the middle of the parking lot.
Yes
A very nice walk through barn space. Gives a self guided tour/info of cheese, and ice cream. Great store for shopping and tasting. They sell cheeses of all kinds and the sell ice cream. It is all amazing. Ni factory tour at this time.
The main / guided tours will happen when the new facility opens in summer of 2018.
