Oh where should I start? The building is beautiful! The staff is wonderful. The art is thought provoking. I enjoyed the augment reality from the Dali app. The virtual reality experience was special. I was literally in his painting. I highly recommend this museum!

Not an inexpensive visit ($58 for 2 adults) but with doing at least once. Definitely watch the movies, and the volunteers can tell you a LOT about the paintings. The building itself is amazing, and don't miss the garden outside.

Quaint, but time well spent if you take great company. Love the history of the art owners , I frequent the Dali as they have great temporary exhibitions. It was just nice to take a gander at during our girls weekend out. The interactive pieces are awesome learning opportunities. We also got lucky as there was a small festival behind the museum after Cheers!!

I visited when there was no temp exhibit, so at this time it was a one-gallery museum, which felt more than a little underwhelming. An impressive collection of Dali's work, to be sure, but hard to call it a *museum* when there is only one room of artwork. Just feels like a lot more could be done with this space to make it feel more whole. For example, the gift shop is nearly larger than the gallery. And for gods sake would it kill you guys to have more than one shirt with some cotton content? Almost every shirt in the store was 100% polyester, which is worse for our oceans than single-user water bottles. I do realize it's the "Dali museum" and not the "surrealist museum", but I do think bringing in the work of other surrealists to inform what was going on in the genre at the time would give more context to his work. The architecture of the building is lovely and the skylights positioned to illuminate the Masterworks (Dali's largest paintings) is a great use of the space. Bring some headphones because the audio tour app is valuable to get a deeper understanding of some of the pieces. I wish they had a recording for every piece, especially given that the whole museum is just one room. Be warned that parking is $10 extra, separate from your admission fees. I am glad I went, there were some works I was thrilled to see in person, but now that I've been, probably won't be back.

24 for adults. There is a senior and child price as well. At this time there is also a Groupon that makes it 18 for adults.
It is 17 dollars with 7 dollar discount. I also recommend going after 5pm on Thursday for 10 dollar tickets.
Yeah like 2 hours. The guided tours are like 30 or 40 minutes but they don't cover all the paintings. So I suggest to take the ipods they have for the audio tour so you can hear the info of the other paintings and the outside sculptures.
Anyone can for free stroll the large gift shop ,cafe and lovely outdoor attractions for free . 10$ to park its cheeper to buy a membership then parking is free and you get 15% discount on purchases and food.
You can check the website for a list of any special events.
...and one of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay is located inside the museum: Café Gala. A hidden gem💎😋🥂🍷🥘
There's no freebies for handicaps but you do get a chance to park much closer
Current special exhibit is based on the relationship between dali and friend duchamp. Student surrealism just ended march 4
Tress, it was an incredible experience, the tour was interactive with the headsets if that's what you choose to do...I loved having the choice to do my own thing! As far as the location of the museum, it's so beautiful and easy to locate. The man, the artist, Dali...is not for everyone, but a must see...peace and love to you and yours
Not mandatory. Recommended. We did not wear a mask.
Working service dogs are allowed everywhere if it is Is emotional of support animal that is different
Stayed at the Hilton for convenience. Ten minute walk from museum, and close to restaurants, McCaffey Theater, and Jannus Landing. Stadium is less than a ten minute drive. The only thing open on site is a Starbucks. Plus, the rooms need redecorating. It sure is convenient though.
Yes
I don't think so. Admission for a day is $25 and a day is enough to see everything.

Im sure you can contact the person who manages the Morse collection which is where the majority of these pieces came from. Likely his signature. And the composition of his paint colors would be able to authenticate.

I agree with Eugene, give it a couple hours. Also, I recommend joining a docent led tour, I think they start one every 30 minutes. You'll learn so many interesting facts about the art that makes it fun. And download the app for the Augmented Reality. Well worth the time and the app is free.
Thursday after 5:00 is half price. Take the tour with the docent it's very informative.
