My husband and I are on the list for four months now. I was just down there to see the place for myself and I am very pleased!!! I cannot wait to move in!!! I hope I won’t have to wait too long but it will be worth the wait . The lake is just gorgeous there were birds and ducks with babies and squirrels it was just like Noah’s ark. Absolutely gorgeous. Exactly how I want to spend my life! Nice and quiet with a pool and I met a friend who already lives there . Hope to catch back up with her when it’s my turn to move in. Very nice and friendly people and the staff is very helpful as well.

I've been here two months and love it! It is very quite and safe. The lawn and maintenance staff keep every thing pristine, thanks guys! The neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. I have been told there was a lot of fun going on in the Rec Hall until the COVID crisis but hopefully those activities will return soon.My unit was completely renovated upon my arrival. Some call the apartment small but it's perfect for my needs. New carpet. appliances and fixtures, squeaky clean! I hope to stay for many years!

I have lived here over 4 years. The only thing that makes life very miserable here is we have shared patios which are accessed by sliding glass doors. We have a pet friendly community. My neighbors dog and cat are allowed to freely go in and out onto the patio...through her open sliding glass doors.Even though she has a gate, it sounds like they are right outside my door when they bark and meow, which wakes me up, disturbs my peace, because the dog barks whenever someone walks by. I have complained to no avail. She will abide by the rules for a few weeks not to disturb my peace, but then lets them back out again, ignoring mamagement rules and warnings. I have had to go on anxiety medications, and sleep medications. I cannot afford to move to another apartment. I love living here. Most everyone has consideration for others...but I was unfortunate to move next door to a woman well known to not care for anyone but herself and her animals. Otherwise, this is a lovely place to live.

Ok. In our block there are four people, two upstairs and two downstairs. The four of us are old and handicapped so neither of us has a car. But we have heavy bags of groceries to get inside, bundle of clothes to take to and fro from the place where we take our wash,. Packages that are delivered to us, maintenance people,. Visitors,. Emergency vehicles and others. The building next to us has four able bodies and they all have a car. Those people (three of them). Park in front of our building denying us the facility to reach the door to our building. No use to complain to the manager, he has no intention to do anything about it. So, if you do not own a car,. You are ignored. And to think that it is a place that is supposed to cater to the steroids.

I can't say this is right today, when I applied it was $450. a month. In August I got an appartment in Palm Lake Village, I got on Section 8 here the first of November. I am very Happy here!
What is the square ft. Of a one bedroom apartment
The unit I live in does not. They have like a unit in a hotel room with an extended part into the bedroom. It is not forced central air conditioning but it works just fine, my bill is never over $70. They are changing them out to more efficient air and heat units. Call office for verification.
Yes
I live here and when I applied 4 years ago I was told the waiting period was 2 to 3 years however they called me at 1 1/2 years. So if they told you 1 yr. That is great. you might call them in 6 mos. To see if it has changed.
Yes they do. Very strict. Annual inspections
Yes they do. It depends on your income.
How long is the waiting list
Age 62 and up to live here..The regular rent is $600 a month includes basic TV and they have section 8 and HUD housing (sliding scale w/lowest of $350 mth). It is on Seminole Lake, beautiful surroundings
.. you should call them directly my guess would be 8 to 10 months ..
