First time here and, I was greeted with a smile. All the staff was nice and kind, I have to say that the customer service was excellent. The staff handle my puppy with care and love... If searching for a place that's caring and lovable to your pets. This is the place. I'm excited for the next visit.

I first used Apple Valley Animal Hospital back in Sep 2021 to get our new kitten spayed and they were very accommodating while all the other vets I called before them had about a 3-6 month waiting list for spay and neuter. Fast forward to February 2022 and our sweet 15 year old kitty started declining rapidly. They were able to get us in quickly and run all the tests needed and get her hydrated but ultimately we had to make the really hard decision to euthanize due to kidney failure. The staff was just terrific with us during that very difficult time. A week and a half after putting our cat down, our husky was hit by a car at 9:30pm. She was bleeding a lot from her back leg. We called the emergency clinic up here and they were unable to take us in that night and referred us to a clinic down the hill. She was acting her normal self other then her leg being hurt so we decided to call AVAH in the morning and they got her in immediately. Thankfully she had non life threatening injuries and had to have her leg bandaged up for a few weeks with frequent check ups but she made a lot of new friends with the staff during her visits. The staff here is compassionate, supportive and you can tell they love what they do. We will continue to use AVAH for all of our pets need.

Best clinic in Southern California! Always willing to get your pets in quickly at a reasonable price. All of the staff are truly passionate about their jobs in working with animals. I always leave knowing that my pets received the best quality care ❤

No they dont do grooming. They only do shaves if it is medically necessary or a fractious cat. Call fur babies pet salon in Apple Valley they are amazing groomers
With the puppy package you get everything basic your puppy needs in the beginning. If they find anything extra like if they are sick, then of course that would be extra. I got the puppy package, and I believe it was worth it. You would have to talk to the office about them not taking your name. I would think you could just give it when you go in again. They are a really nice animal hospital.

I have never experienced that. There are always more than enough staff. And responded quickly to any concerns.

I do know there are several different categories. I believe that vet techs actually assist with surgeries and things like that. A vet assistant, I believe, handles more of the office items like taking payments, making appointments and possibly taking history of the animal. The people at this Animal Hospital have absolutely the cream-of-the-crop working there from reception through to the veterinarians themselves. I would suggest that you do some online research and also decide for yourself how directly you want to work with the animals and in what capacity.
The quality of service has gone way down in the past few years, it seems as though they are only after your money and not the care of your pet...i do not recommend taking your pets/family members to this vet
