I have been going to SBPH for over 3 years now and have been extremely pleased with the care for my two dogs. They are very accommodating for visits, and have been really amazing with my dog who has some behavioral issues/fears of the vet. I always find pricing reasonable/standard and have had great experiences with numerous vets, and techs at the office. Highly recommend for your furry friend!

Our first time here and everyone was so great with our bunny and us! The doctor was very patient with all of our questions. So happy we found this place!

There's a reason why people review the prices here. I've been going here for 2+ years and LOVE the Doctors and tech staff. They are phenomenal and so communicative. I've told myself for 2 years the price is worth it because I am getting great care. However - at the latest visit, I bought a bottle of antiseptic shampoo ($41) - only to find it online for $18. I called to see if I accidentally got double charged and they said NOPE thats the cost. I was told they mark up slightly but it costs them more to procure it. I understand they might get it from distributors at a higher price, but maybe that's an indicator its time to look into your own costs and sourcing before passing it along to patients. I was more frustrated with the lack of customer service than I was the $20 price difference. Anyways - my trust took a hit. I want vets to be payed fair prices (especially in our part of the world!) but come on.. a 100% cost overcharge on a product is not okay, regardless of the reasons why. And being unwilling to work with patients on this stuff is very tough to stomach - especially given the amount of money I've spent here in the last 2 years.

My family’s favorite vet clinic. The doctors and the clinic staff give our Luke the best of care every visit. Across El Camino Real is the Tanforan Mall.

For the protection of all our boarding guests, we require that any dog staying with us have a current annual exam, and vaccinations for rabies, Bordetella, both strains of canine influenza, distemper, and parvo. We also ask that your pet be current on flea prevention but do not allow flea collars as they are a safety hazard. For pets taking medication, they must have a current annual exam with one of our doctors on staff so they may monitor your pet during their day.
In the case of an emergency or urgent medical need, we’ll do everything in our power to get your pet in to see a veterinarian as soon as possible. It’s best to always call first so that we can be prepared to start helping immediately upon your arrival. For non-emergency visits and routine care, we ask that you make an appointment.
Look for symptoms, extreme pain and discomfort, difficulty moving or walking, sudden loss of appetite, belabored breathing. These are my observations from my pet.
Hello Alexander, unfortunately we do not have a veterinarian on staff currently who treats reptiles. You can reach out to the Bay Area Bird Hospital in SF as they usually have a doctor who treats exotics on staff. Best of luck!
They do boarding for cats and kittens but not sure what the cost is. Some vaccines you need to wait a week or so before you can board. Best to call them and ask.
We do! San Bruno Pet Hospital is one of the few facilities in the area that treats pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, and gerbils.
Yes, as a veterinarian at San Bruno Pet Hospital I can say that I hope the bump isn't anything serious, but the safest thing is to have her checked out. We'd be happy to take a look at her.
