We had the place to ourselves when I took my son. It's an incredible place to visit and learn more about Marie Laveau and the history of Voodoo. If you're lucky, you'll also meet the Voodoo Priestess Madam Cinnamon Black 💙

Very mystic place filled with treasures fom the famous Voodoo religion. Take your time and absorb the history. Make a wish if you dare ...

This place is on the list of top museums to visit in NOLA for a reason. It's fun, kitschy experience worth having but full disclosure— it’s less of a museum and more like a wander through your kooky relative’s attic. Not great if you're trying to socially distance, just so you know. One less star because the poorly written placards are charming but placed in a way that makes a lot of them impossible to read. Also, someone *needs* to go through that place with a duster, STAT. Yikes.

Very informative amd educational. Small space, so do not go if you are worried about Covid! I wore my mask the whole time, but it got a little crowded at one point. If you want to learn about all things Voodoo, this stop is a must visiting NOLA!

No they will not practice voodoo on you. Its a museum that details the history and culture of voodoo in New Orleans
If you choose the option of the walking tour of the voodoo Museum it does also include a history and walking tour of cemetery number 1 where Marie Laveau The Voodoo Queen is said to be buried. The Tour by itself is $20 if you do it through the cemetary and it is mostly a tour on the cemetery architecture and history.
No it's not.
I didn't see a separate parking lot. We walked there from our hotel.
Yes to pics but no flash I believe
They do not have mediums there, but they will gladly send you in the right direction of a medium
This place has a Groupon. (Usually same price as regular admission.) But you can't order from their own website.
Probably, heaven?
Our visit wad less than 30 mins
You'd be better off going down to the Voodoo Authentica store just down the street. Things are actually labeled and there are people there willing to answer questions and they don't charge you to be there.
