This petit Jazz museum is a MUST SEE!!! If you want to learn and immerse yourself in the real, true history of the origins and evolutions of Jazz in Nola this is where to go. Unlike the bigger jazz museum/mint (which was completely white-washed and unauthentic) this petit museum featured walls covered with portraits of Black musical pioneers, the true creators of the culture here. It is all run by the most kind Nola native who personally gave us an in depth tour. It’s only about 2 rooms but the history here is unmatched. Please go and support!! Black owned!!
