I am doing Zoom groups and haven't even started yet Because people are so rude over there for the dual partial hospitalization program that they tend to hang up on you or if you call and leave a message which I have 2 days in a row and nobody has gotten back to me!

I visited the partial hospitalization program, and this place was disgusting: dirty bathrooms, stained carpets that haven't been cleaned in ages (or ever?), dated decor, small space. They kept us in one room from 9 am to 3 pm, all just lectures and group talk, no group activities, no team building, no mental stimulation, nothing. The poor excuse of a lunch they provided was unhealthy, packaged food loaded with carbs and sodium. By far, the worst thing about this facility was the staff. There is no doctor on staff, just a nurse. Except for one staff member, Rebecca who was really sweet, all the rest of the staff were dismissive of us and cut us off, even when they asked for our input. One client was feeling particularly anxious, and when another client gave him a consensual touch and offered to file his nails to help him relax, the staff member exploded and claimed that if he did his nails, he would have to do everybody's nails. When the class said that isn't true, she said if we didn't like it, we could go somewhere else. No mental health practitioner should lose her cool like that. After that incident, several of us decided to never come back.

This place is HORRRIBLLLEEEEEE I call and I can NEVERRRR get through the morning stafff is so unprofessional and they leave me on HOLD for more then 45 minutes. One lady in particular is ALWAYS eating every single time I come to my appointment I really dont understand why shes always eating. And the manager is always in the front gossiping about her husband I know this because when I wait downstairs thats all I heaar!!!!

I'm not sure who the people who gave negative reviews saw, but I disagree %100. Additionally, I don't believe that the center had employees write positive reviews. The staff has so many patients that it's not necessary. In fact, the clinicians are so overworked that I'm sure they could thrive minus a few hundred of us. With that being said, I'm a young professional with challenging issues. These issues interrupt my job, school, and all of my relationships. Basically, I'm just trying to get by. Jonathan, Dr. Aggressor, and the entire staff have worked tirelessly to keep me from drowning. In fact, I honestly don't think I'd be alive without them. In addition to this, everyone's caseload is barely manageable, still, they make time for me. If I need something, Jonathan will get it done. Dr. Aggressor will squeeze in an appointment whenever I need one, or another Dr. will step in. I live in New Hampshire and drive over an hour to see them. I could transfer, and make my commute shorter, but I honestly trust the people who treat me, and don't want to see anyone else. Please keep in mind when reviewing your Dr. or therapist that these people are trying to help you, and are extremely stressed themselves from trying to help all of their clients. Jonathan and Dr. Aggressor are my support system. Without them I'd be lost. Their jobs are thankless and I think they deserve so much more recognition than they receive. Everyone does. Everyone that works there plays a role in my experience, and the improvement of my well-being. So thanks everyone at Jamaica Plain Arbour, I'm extremely grateful to have such an amazing support network.
