Dr. Krieger is Amazing! She is the first doctor that actually took her time to listen to me and try and help. The 4 stars is because of the front desk staff…some of them need an attitude adjustment. It’s sad that the great ones have to suffer with/for the others. Lack of accountability and respect can really bring down morale.

It has been a truly shocking experience with this hospital. I went for a new patient ENT office visit with Dr. Roditi at this hospital last year (Nov 15, 2021) and had a relatively decent appt where Dr. Roditi asked me about my sinuses, etc. due to my complaints. She then asked if she had consent to look up my nose, which I consented to. She looked at my nose with this tube thing briefly. Several months later, unbeknownst to me, I receive a bill charging me $856 for a nasal endoscopy (which was just a slightly longer tube than a normal doctor's office looking up my nose for about half a minute) over the approx $693 they charged that my excellent insurance PPO would cover. I now have sent messages back and forth with them for months explaining that I am a grad student who cannot afford these extraorbitant rates (which I didn't agree to and was not informed of prior). Their argument against me is that I "consented" to this procedure -- which was looking up my nose -- and I was not told that it would be filed as a highly expensive procedure not covered by insurance. After months and months of correspondence back and forth and not even once being given any consideration, this has really made me afraid to even go and get check ups here at my normal PCP here because of their practices.

I have had a great experience with a partial left knee surgery. Dr. Shaw was personal and professional always explaining everything. Susan my nurse in pre-op was tremendous. Smart and funny. My nurse Kevin on the night shift was tremendously helpful and responsive. The PCA’s Meghan and Steph were terrific keeping my needs at the forefront. The PT and NP Laurie made a tough experience very good. I would recommend Brigham and Faulkner to anyone looking for top notch professional care. Thank you all for the job you do.

The neurology department at this hospital is a joke, specifically the women's headache center. There's lack of communication between staff, lack of effort from doctors so much so that its negligent. It should not take 3 plus months to fill a prescription, or 3 plus weeks to hear back from the doctor. The non effectiveness of this department has caused so much physical and emotional distress, and disruption to my household. Not only because of LACK OF DUE TREATMENT but because of their negligence that its now caused a loss of health insurance and disruption to our everyday lives. I have never seen such disorganization at a medical facility. These are people's lives they're dealing with and they're blatantly failing their patients. I have a very sick family member at home WHICH would have never happened and could have been avoided had the staff had just done their jobs. All this department has done is twiddle their thumbs and pass notes back and forth with a huge attitude.This department should be investigated by the medical board and staff should be replaced or at the very least be put on probation.
