Amazing place to relax and walk. You can no longer walk your dog or ride your bike inside the gates. I can understand why. Nonetheless it’s probably one of the most beautiful places in Boston and historic.

Was there earlier today with my sister. We have relatives that are buried there. It is an beautiful and peaceful looking cemetery. I like how they have a pond there. Also there some fantastic looking monuments there as well. The Fern Hill part of the cemetery has 3 large tablets with people's name on engraved on them. It is a beautiful peaceful area for spreading ashes as well.

This place is so underrated and under used. It is beautifully maintained, allows dogs on leashes, has a giant pond with benches in the middle and is always quiet and peaceful. I love taking my dog for long walks here. Just beautiful.

An emotionally moving day walking the cemetery's many paths and taking photos so I could share my experience online with others. Beautiful in a haunting way, different from other cemeteries, perhaps the changing overcast/sunny sky and the touching personal memorials.

Go to the office by the front gate. They have maps.

Looking for an information on Margaret Brooks who died in January 1932-33. Show is my grandmother but she died when my mother was 5 years old. My mother was raised in an orphanage in Halifax, NS and has no memory of her mother. Any help willbegrea
