Embarkation AND disembarkation were the most poorly organized, chaotic evolutions we've ever experienced in many years of cruising. Will NEVER cruise through Boston again! This old port is not set up to handle big ship passenger numbers. The port workers were polite and kind, and this debacle was not their fault. We were forced to stand for 2.5 hours in the August heat waiting to get into the terminal for embarkation processing. Unbelievably, after debarking, we had another 2 hours of standing in the heat waiting for our prepaid bus transportation to the airport. Both the cruise port and Holland America Line desperately need to get their act together to provide sheltered seating for waiting passengers, particularly those who are elderly and physically impaired. Too bad I can't give less than one star: it rates MINUS stars.

Structure is old and dirty watch your step before you get into the check in area. People where nice and friendly inside and outside. Inside the terminal it looks worn so don't expect anything fancy.

Easy access wheel chair assessable clean wait under roof out of weather. Quick efficient

Nice terminal with helpful staff but did not like how they crammed everyone into the small spaces waiting to board. Not sure if this is their usual method or due to pandemic although it would be the opposite of what you'd want to do during times of any high community spread.

Aloft Seaport, Element Seaport, Westin Waterfront, Renaissance Waterfront, Seaport Hotel, and they are building a Hampton Inn down the street this year.
Our cruise included it from the hotel we stayed in.
Walgreens. You only need the NAAT test for most places. Results in 2 hours.
Yes there is a shuttle that runs frequently from Raymond L Flynn directly to the cruise port that is included and will also pick you up on debarkation day. It worked very well for us
Absolutely
Silverline is very close, takes you to South Station
Yes. Why would they not. Save the 140.00 in parking and spend it on your vacation.
It's very close, as matter of fact you see the cruise ship from airport. It's the other side of harbour from airport.
Take the T to park street station. See one of the downtown ambassadors
Yes
No reservation required in lot 13, EDIC Garage Flynn ABM Parking, directly ahead of ship. First come, first serve; $25/day.
Yes, plus might not be the best place to park. Use a friend or ride sharing service is your best bet
Yes I believe so in Boston
They is a parking garage across the street you will have to walk about 150 yards
Not to my knowledge
Not sure on where
Silver line
I believe the closest car rentals would be at Logan Airport, which is only a few miles away, but I could be wrong.
Question needs clarification. As is, no answer is possible.
Trolls are Cabs. We did the jump off trolley tour
I don't know. I would guess 15 minutes but it would come down to the time of day due to traffic conditions. No traffic probably 10. Heavy traffic 25?
Seaport Hotel. Great seafood restaurant right next to the terminal on Dry Dock Ave. Dryer Dock Cafe. Only open thursday and friday night for dinner. Freshes seafood in the city.
Not for long term only pick up and drop off.
I do not know. I drove up and could not find anything but big garage at 12 dry dock
They have a parking area and a parking garage - both expensive. Have someone take you there.
There's only 1 parking lot, so if they said 25 then that's the price. If you can, have a friend drop you off or take a taxi/uber.
There are many, but my favorite is the Dry Dock Cafe. It is right next to the Ray Flynn Black Falcon Pier. It is only open for dinner on Thursda and Friday and Breakfast and lunch Monday thru Friday
The cruise terminal has gated parking but it's pricey
I'm not sure, we got dropped off by Family member. Uber always is great though!
Put both addresses in your Uber app, you will be given a cost...unless someone has taken the EXACT same trip, they would not know...
Get a limo
I work at the port and can be at the airport in 10 min with no traffic...
Best to chat with that line directly Many of the small lines do not use Black Falcon aka Ray Flynn These others have been seem in Charlestown and Downtown
Westin, Seaport, Renaissance, Hilton, Hyatt, etc...
Yes
It was NCL...Norwegian, the ship was the Dawn, disembarked in San Juan on 11/18
I believe it's Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish
Yes but it's $30
They are allowed time to do so with assistance from the facility
We took the train in
To get shipboard wheelchair assistance you either make arrangements with the cruise planner when initially booking or before departure date.... Or as you arrive, indicate to port personnel you require wheelchair assistance. I have traveled with both NCL and Royal Caribbean, out of 3 different Eastern seaports, for all 3 the arrangements were made before with the cruise planner.
There is,a "cell phone" parking lot you can wait at. When they know what time they will disembark they can call you. Of course the 1. Have to have a cell fon & 2. Know you are waiting in the lot for their call. Also, if you have their cell number you can call them. In any case everybody is off the ship by 10:30. And those are the stragglers.
Car or the silver line but it will be a walk
Parking at the terminal is $25 a day. Parking at several of the hotels in the area is usually about $17 a day. If flying back, you are better off taking a taxi. Also , as a bonus, the taxi can drop you directly in front of the terminal.
well there is a dunkin donuts few blocks from the terminal they serve some basic breakfast
1 Black Falcon Ave. Its 6 minutes off the highway. Very easy to get to.
On the days when the cruise ship are in port the Custom department are there too, the cruise ship leave out on Fridays and Saturdays
Yes outside of the terminal no ID needed
Uber or Lyft. You can't go wrong with either...
No
To prepay for the cruise you can go to the Holland America website and call the contact number.
Lots of taxis. Shuttles charge by the person, taxis by the trip. So if there are only two or three of you, taxi is the way to go.
All airports are almost at the same level of security. With slight diffrences
I think its 1st come
Definitely do Uber/Lyft. Fast, easy, low-stress!
Google. Lol.
Take an Uber and leave the car at home if possible.
Yes, if you are not American. No passport needed in Bermuda though for some reason.
I always take my passport with to be safe
Yes, it's a 10 minute walk.
I'm sure there are several ships departing.
