I have trained with several puppies produced by Laurie and Joe. These puppies are so easy to teach and come with the groundwork laid for many skills. Things like potty training and proper world exposure will be started before you bring your puppy home. The sires and dams used as breeding stock are excellent quality. They are health tested and cleared prior to breeding as any responsible breeders should do and have excellent temperament. I recommend Laurie's and Joe's labs for amazing pets for family homes and even service dog candidates.

We had our first litter of puppies March 2021. Since this was our first, we were (still are) very inexperienced. I literally had no idea what to do or what to expect. The vet believed it was a phantom pregnancy, but 2 weeks before she was ready to whelp, we found out she was pregnant. I reached out to Laurie on Facebook and she immediately gave me helpful information on the supplies, medication, equipment, etc. that was needed. On the night Josie was whelping, Laurie was available through the night (which was incredible and I did not expect that at all). Any questions or concerns I had, she was there. She walked me through the entire process, regardless of what time of night it was. Throughout the first 3-4 weeks of the puppies lives, she was more than happy to help with any questions I had. I can truly say that Laurie & Joe’s Labs made a significant difference in how our puppies were raised. They are now almost 7 months old and are living happy, healthy lives in their new homes.

I had the opportunity to work with Laurie this year and I am extremely happy to share my experiences. I met Laurie in a breeder group and she offered to mentor me as a breeder. When my dogs were whelping in the middle of the night, she made herself available to help me virtually. One time a puppy got stuck in the birthing canal and she was able to guide me through this very stressful time. This saved me from taking my dog to the pet emergency hospital. She has prior experience working in the medical field and has a lot of knowledge about general health of not only humans but also canines. Before meeting Laurie, I had never done any temperament testing on my previous litters. Laurie taught me a lot about the benefits of doing it in order to ensure a better match between a puppy and its family. Laurie even records evaluation videos of each puppy for her clients. This makes her breeding program even more special as most breeders would not take the time to do this for their clients. Laurie is always willing to go above and beyond because she sincerely wants to do what is in the best interest of her dogs and clients. If you are interested in a Labrador Retriever, I HIGHLY recommend Laurie and Joe's Labs!! They are very responsible breeders with a big heart!
