We went to Best Buy to look at Apple Computers because they were on sale. Ended up saving about $200 on my purchase of a MacBook Pro so that was a good part to this review! The store is a typical Best Buy store and has changed little since it was opened at our location. The young man that helped us was knowledgeable and helpful. He did not try to oversell us on many items that we didn’t need so I appreciated that. As mentioned above, the pricing was better than most places that we looked at the same computer so i am giving a good rating based mostly on that and the staff’s help. The two main reasons that I have only three stars are as follows: 1) Best Buy, to me, had a history of either not having displays for products that I want or the displays that they have do not work. In my opinion, if you are going to have a brick and mortar store, you need to have abundant, working displays. I have been to Best Buy many times over a multi year period and it is always the same thing; displays that are useless! When we went in to look at the laptops, they have no Apple products on display. The staff stated that it was due to theft and that too many Apple products were being stolen. They have a person standing right inside the single entrance/exit and what are apparently fake scanners that you go through to exit so I am not sure how the theft is happening! I'll start by saying I never give 5 stars. Cause there's always room for improvement! I normally order on line and get curbside pickup. I can only think of 1 time where I had to wait over 5mins for my thins to be brought out to me. I order a good bit of stuff from best buy, haven't had any problems with anything I've bought. Thank you Bestbuy!!
