This Hilton Garden Inn is one of the newest, I believe it is a year old. Rooms are great, clean, soft beds, big TVs. Service has always been friendly. One small disadvantage is that they still do not have room service, and their restaurant is not open on Sundays. My biggest beef with the hotel is the way it was designed. It was built with banquet/conference space, and that's on the far end of the bldg and beyond that sits their sizeable parking lot. I drive a truck and most of the time I haul a trailer. Parking is NOT the issue. The issue is that it is a good 500ft walk up a small incline to the front door. And in the summer heat it is a brutal walk especially when you are carrying multiple bags. On my second trip I noticed a back entrance to the hotel right next to the elevators, however there is no walkway to the lot, so you have to walk through the grass 200ft to get to the lot.

The staff was amazing very accommodating and friendly they have a modest bar which is open from 5 to 10 I had a crown and ginger ale and it was delicous. My family of 10 enjoyed the pool the room temperature was warm which kept us from freezing when we got out and we appreciated having it all to ourselves as it really seemed only one other family would be able to join us provided they had no more than 4 or 5 members...at that point we would have all been on top of each other but it probably would have made for a great game of chicken. We opted for a room with 2 beds and considering the price I was hoping for a pretty decent view instead we were facing the air duct the comfy beds made up for the ugly view. Also the fact that the TV was on a swivel so the glare from the window didn't cause much trouble. All in all our stay was amazing

Good spot just off 81, nice selection of food and a small bar. It's just nice to stop at a place when your on the road and don't have to get back in the car to get something to eat. Will stop again on our way south.

Stayed here over the weekend due to inclement weather. Staff was very friendly, including housekeeping that I saw on way to checkout. Room was great & I don’t think I want to stay anywhere else again. I’ll be back & will pack my bathing suit next time.

No they don't, rent a car and you don't have to depend on anyone. Unless you are disabled and traveling with a companion.
