This place helped me and my parents back in the early 2000s. I have fond memories of the cafeteria, and also them helping with many of my Christmas gifts as a little girl. I want to say thank you for keeping this place open and continue helping those that are in need. This is truly a blessing to see it still going strong 🥹

Friendship Park does it's name justice. Thanks to the people who work hard all week keeping the park and shelters near it safe and clean. There are a variety of men and women who do a phenomenal job of keeping the park safe, clean and the people who visit more than content with needed supplies for men and some for women. I believe this is where men can go for showers and when Mary House is closed women can get supplies here also. The employees and volunteers have infectiously good attitudes and in their kindness and helpfulness you can tell that they love their jobs. This usually results in a space where most everyone is smiling and content and very helpful and kind to others. I have made life long friendships in this park. I have had my whole day go from bad to "nothing can keep me down" and my day ending with me getting help with things I thought I was on my own for. The employees as well as the people who utilize this place have a love and respect for one another that's impossible to miss. One employee was able to tell me how he took his job here instead of a high paying stuffy job and he was glad for his decision, while keeping both eyes on his job and performing it very well. I think most the employees feel this way and have made similar decisions. They know everyone by first name and have good relationships with the people who utilize this park. It's hard to fall through the cracks here. The employees show friendship and kindness to all who walk through the gate. I feel safe when I'm here because I've seen how quickly and efficiently staff reacts to every situation. I've seen people who on the streets seem to be guarded and with concern only for themselves be open, friendly and willing to help all. Yes, I think this place has a blessing nothing can touch. One that reaches the hearts of all who come here.

My name is Andie Chaffins. I follow this group because of my uncle Lloyd Chaffins aka Wizard. He passed some years back and now his remains are in a tomb marked only with the year as an unnamed homeless. Sister Libby was of great consolation when he passed. I'd love to meet her someday. Please give her my love and gratitude.
Yes go to the office they will tell u what days services are provided
Marry house but you have to prove it. Prove what you need them for
No they dont. They can give you info on where to go

You have to sign up in advance. If you just show up they will tell you to come next week. It's generally by appointment only. Talk to staff at least two weeks before you plan to visit the vet.
Yes. Also second Saturday of every month there is a clinic held so the homeless can get their pets shots, flea/tick drops, sweaters, collars, leashes, etc. The vet check's their pet out to make sure they are doing fine. Look Loaves & Fishes on line to see all they provide.
