One of the local assistance places has a place for pets as I understand. You can ask at Loaves and Fishes, they are quite helpful there.
As long as your fur baby is spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations you can put him/her in Anneke's haven at Loaves & Fishes...
I am also homeless and I have a dog as well and if your dog is fixed loaves and fishes has a kennal for dogs so you can eat and take a shower but please be safe if you camp by yourself
Are vet services available !?
If your dog is fixed it can stay in the kennel free while you visit friendship park aka loaves and fishes
It was just myself at first then later on me and the guy that I was engaged to were told about this situation with these people's dogs and the puppies I jumped on the chance of getting one I look at them and fell in love with my now 1yr old Izzy don't be afraid that they are being hurt they may have to adjust to the new environment they need you as much as you need them take time to watch how they react to certain things and so on and try one thing after another till you all find your way to tell pet to owner this works for me how about you and you'll be just fine and you can always ask anyone else who you see that has animals also there's Mart, Phillip at the kennel it might seem hard at first but it's worth it I wouldn't trade anything in the world not to have my Izzy
You can take ur dog with you in Love's & fishes
Loaves and Fishes has a kennel for day use
Many of Sacramento's homeless keep their dog with them even when living on the street.
You can take him with you
