This is one of my favorite places to go relax. Very nice pool. Never usually too crowded. Clean area. Good snacks and hot foods. The park itself is beautiful. Some playground areas for the kids. Nature trails. A very nice stream runs through. Do some fishing or kick back by the water. They also have grill areas with tables. Nicely shaded. Just a great area to take the family

Nice quiet place to camp. We had no TV and limited Verizon coverage. It was fun to walk on the AT trail that comes through the park.

One of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to. Nice hiking trails, beautiful creeks, and the pines smell wonderful. Plenty of picnic areas and places to just relax and listen to nature. The pool is very nice. (Even though that's not really my thing.) Plenty of great photos throughout the park.

We just came for the day and pretty much just stayed by the creek which was wonderful for the kids. The water is easy accessible and very shallow which is great for smaller children. The trails were clearly marked, there were lots of benches and grills. The bathrooms right by the creek were clean. We went during the week so the only crowd were a few kids from a camp I'm assuming. We will return maybe in Fall for the foliage.

We got one that sleeps 10 that cost us about $700 for 7 days
There are lots of trails and picnic areas. The park is free but swimming in the pool or camping has a fee.
Yes they do have a pool.. But a lot of people just go in the creek cuz its so clear!!!
When u get online it will give u all the information u need.... Enjoy!!!
We used one when we were there. I think it is ok as long as you are not damaging the tree.
General rule is 50 miles. If you are travelling less than that it's ok. Although some would argue it should be closer to 20 miles.
Yes. There are 2 areas, however I believe 1 is closed this year for maintenance. Best to check the park website.
Reservations can be made through Reserve America. All sites are reservable., So suggest if possible you make a reservation. The pool is currently closed, but, they hope to open on June 13th. The trails and Creek are available for fun. The bathrooms are cleaned twice daily. Hope this helps...
Not in the park proper, but some surrounding lands are open for public use for harvesting some wildlife at the specific times. Check with Park services for exact areas
Yes there are places all around the park that you could push a wheelchair at
Absolutely. Just not in some parts of campground or sandy beaches. Leash 6foot or shorter is general rule also. Enjoy!
The pool cost for 2019 is $7.00 and the hours are 11am-7pm daily or depending on staff! Hope this helps
There are 2 campgrounds at Caledonia. Hosack Run is the pet friendly one. No pets allowed at the Chinquapin Hill one.
57$ for out of town rv campers
$ 6.00 per day.
I think they charge $25 a night for camping for tents, they do have a swimming pool which is spring fed from the mountain which is like 5 or $6 to get in. They do have a creek that runs by if you don't want to spend the money on swimming in the pool I've always taken our kids creeking. They do have a bunch of picnic tables that run along the creek with Pavilions hiking trails walking trails all in through there. But if you want to go to a lake probably about 8 to 10 miles down the road is either Fuller Lake or a little bit past is Laural lake lake, they're both spring fed lakes, they also have places there for you to grill or they have snack Shack's at both places as well. It's all free but the camping and the pool.
You have to ask for a campsite with electric it cost slightly more..bit if you are pitching a tent I would recommend one without cause most of the campsite has stones
What kind of hiking? Day hiking you won't have a problem but if your going to leave your car there for a day or more you have to register it first.
They also offer season tickets and package rates
It usually opens Memorial Day and closes Labor day. But sometimes they open the second week of June depending on which one comes first.
I'm sorry I don't have that answere. Call them. I didn't think it's much ,my stepson rented one . And if he can afford it
Yes but only in certain areas. You can check the office & get a map. Hope this helps. Sounds like fun!!
