I took my 10 year-old son for his birthday, and we had a ton of fun! The water park was a blast and we rode most of the slides. He really loved the magiquest! We did get the paw pass and it was worth it. We tried every activity and had fun with each one. The food options are very limited if you like to eat healthy. I recommend bringing your own snacks/fruit and we did eat off site one night at a local brewery which was really great. The time spent with my son there was awesome and we made so many good memories. I do agree with some of the reviews that say neighbors above can be loud but keep it in perspective and realize you are going to a kids resort and it’s going to be loud and noisy at times. The construction is a little annoying but you know that going in. It’s all what you make of it. I recommend this place for a nice short getaway that will be sure yo make your kids happy! The staff was very nice and even helped us locate two lost bags after we checked out.

The lodge was under construction, there was no outdoor activities or park for the young kids to play at. We made the best of the weekend and tried not to let the things we didn't like ruin our time. The indoor water park really didn't have a lot for kids to do, especially for toddlers 17 months and a 3 yr old. The splash pad didn't keep them interested and after a dozen times down the little slides the 3 year old was done. Friday afternoon there was two lifeguards working in the young kids section but on Saturday there was no lifeguard working the slides, which I thought was a safety issue. There was no activities scheduled in the lobby during the day for them and the characters only came out at 5:00pm to 5:30pm. The kids really enjoyed the dance party on Friday evening, and the few perks you get with the pup and paw pass. The room wasn't as clean as it should of been. The biggest issue we had with our room was the door, the bolt lock doesn't stay locked when you turn the handle, our little 17 month old was having a great time opening the door thank goodness it had the hook on top otherwise they would of been running out the door. The buffet kitchen staff was working very hard to keep things going and very friendly. I am going to say they are having trouble getting people to work. The arcade staff was very nice especially the one girl working behind the counter. (unfortunately I didn't get her name) Check in was fine but they do not hand out maps of the lodge or where you get the free items with your pup/paw passes. We had to do a lot of asking where things were. I hope that after they expand it will be a better place.

Spent 3 days at Great Wold Lodge with my kiddos and hubby. Was an amazing experience. Clean suites, good food choices, clean pools and it's safe. Honestly, the water isn't deeper than 4ft (of course supervision of your kids is required) but it's nice to know it's safe. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks!

First, our kids had a blast, which is what we wanted. The staff was friendly and unusually kind. They smiled at all times and our requests were handled promptly. I would recommend them for a great family getaway. Let's just say my kids wanted to stay there and we had to let them know next time we will stay longer. Oh, and the food was good too...they loved mostly the water park, they could not get enough. Overall, we had a great time.

You can't just go for the water park.... You have to book a room & access to the water park & the entire lodge is included.
Oh yes most definitely When you book your room everything comes with it the water park the games it is so amazing in there 😁
What is your question?
Yes! Somewhere around 20/pp but if u have more than 5 people. Then it's almost worth it to just stay 1 night for the experience.
Yes!! It's all new and gorgeous!! The rooms are updated to a sleek woodland vibe, hallways too. Downstairs is revamped with Ben and jerry's, and more
IT'S beautiful food room pool stuff rides all of theVREAT WOLF LODHE AMAZING PLACEOUTDOORS INDOORS
Yes there is outdoor pool. Max depth is 4 feet.
Check in, its at 4p .. but if you happen to use the water park which you can get access to as early as 1pm you can call the front desk .and ask if the room would be available before 4p they usually would accommodate
Yes you can .. they let you in at 1 pm on the day you check in and you can use the water park till they colse on the day you check out. Thats plenty time to use the park
Yes, they are always included with your stay.
Yes. All activities are indoors during cold months. There is lots to do. Games that will keep families busy for hours like the magi quest or shadow quest, arcade with lots of games, activities in the kids store, bowling, mini golf, spa for kids, spa for adults, story time and activities throughout the day, and of course the indoor park with at 84 degrees at all times.
I have a reservation for next week (during Sept 2021) and got an email saying that as of Labor Day, Quests aren't available because they are doing the upgrade. Not sure how long it will be closed since they only informed me it won't be there during my stay.
Yes. Small children 2-5
You pay the hotel and admission is free. You could get in the following day as well after checking out.
I would think Camelback would
You can wear any swimsuit inside the water park.
You have to be an overnight guest to use the waterpark
Something no one else has mentioned so far is that the water park is fun for all ages. There are definitely more exciting rides appealing for older kids. There is also an outdoor challenge course that looks really fun.
Yes
Negative
Yes there are
Actually is more then 6 wrist bands per room i had 7 people in my room n we all had wristbands
They give you an option for smoking or nonsmoking.
If you have kids.
No you cannot you would need to have a room there
They closed scoops at this location years ago now. Virginia is the only location that has a scoops now. Lol I'll never understand why people ever bother answering a question with "I don't know the answer" 🤦🏼♀️
No. Food is yuck. My kids didn't like it. They got food inside but bring your own. They have mini fridge and microwave.
No you just need to purchase a day pass, and you could enter the Waterpark, eat in the restaurant, gift shop etc....
Funds really depend on age. But there is something for everyone. Something important to remember, at the moment they're no-cash at all vendors/restaurants inside- so must use a card or use your room key wristband that can scan and pay for everything with it being charged to the booking or by adding funds ahead of time. Check out all of the different activities as it will really vary dramatically as far as additional money. The Waterpark of course and several other things are all included which is great, but things like the arcade and some others ofc require additional funds. Not sure if the bowling does or not can't remember but was just there within the last few days and can say its important to ensure you've got a credit/debit card or add funds to your room charge. Have fun!
Breakfast starts at 7:30am, lunch starts early afternoon, and supper starts at 5:00pm
The food there is great! We got the food package for all you can eat breakfast and dinner buffet. Lunch was pizza or anything at hungry as a wolf. You are not allowed to bring your own food into the water park area doesn't mean you can't bring your food into the lodge itself.
I don't now about the the outdoor activities because there weren't open at the time I went there but for indoor you don't have to were a mask but once you exit the pool area, you have to put your mask back on until your in your hotel room.
Visit the website
Outdoor activities are still closed. You can make reservations for indoor activities at check-in. Only several activities require advance reservation. Masks are required in all common areas, no mask is needed while engaged in water play, but should be worn if you are just sitting poolside. No reservations for pool. First come, first serve. Opens at 10am and closes at 8pm. I recommend going in @10am and placing your towels on chairs of your choice to hold them; it gets pretty full rather quickly. Chairs are placed at safe distances from each other and are zip tied so they cannot be moved. Hope this helps.
Check in is at 4pm but you sure able to use the water park as early as 1pm on check in day so bring an extra small bag with swimwear in case your room isnt ready yet to put your other things in. Check out is 11am unless you choose late check out which I believe is 2pm. But you are able to access the water park until closing on your check out day.
Depending on the days and the room features
No.
All u can eat buffet 26.00 other than that good luck on finding dinner nearby.
Yes multiple option in hotel but pricey, more options 5 to 10 min around.
The pizza and soda with the golf & bowling tickets were great and i went to Walmart and filled the fridge up
Masks are required at all times in the hotel except for the water park and in your room. The capacity is limited to 50%. You get Waterpark passes for each guest that is in your room (that they know about). Day passes need to be purchased online. If you don't buy it online you might not get day passes because of the limited capacity restrictions.
Yes there are near buy places to buy food or at Lodge. The only issue I had there was not a lot of options at the Lodge.
I'm not really sure bcuz we got a package deal bcuz of the amount of ppl that went
Yes, usually close to the front of the hallways of rooms, there should be a room to wash and dry clothes.
Yes ! They have the indoor waterpark and outdoor pool. They are open from 9 am - 8 pm and all year round.
Only in a large enough group where the front door greeter cannot see all people, but that's not cool. You get free access when you rent a room
I wouldn't say its worth it. Its expensive we drove to friendlys that wasn't so far.
Do not stop the hotel has a restaurant
I believe the carpets were very clean. I was impressed with their process to keep the entire facility cleaned. Now, there is a lot of foot traffic because people will be walking around in their shoes so the floors will never be 100% clean, but as a precaution I would never walk in any building that is not my own home barefooted.
Mohegan sun is close by, but not sure if they are open currently. I double checked and it looks like they are open with limited table room and slots.
Yes
I don't know about family discounts, but when we recently stayed we received an upgraded room and a reduced price on an additional day
Yes everything there was open and operational. Just there 6/24
Varies depending on the room you stay in, time of year, day of week, and what ever promotions are being offered if any. Best thing to do is price it out online. It could cost you around $200 a might or as much as $400 or $500 a night.
Don't ever go there again is the worst place kalahari is better prices super high and you can't sleep there because the wall is cheap and the housekeeping don't stop making noise so you can go
There is no reason to have to speak to the owner, the help on site are more than capable to assist.
Maybe outside the lodge I didn't notice anyone smoking inside, you can provably find out on the website.
Yeah but book in advance
I believe the hours are from 9am to 8pm for indoor pool. I'm not sure if they close the outdoor pool in the fall.
There doesn't seem to be regulated parking. No ticket booth or gates, so I would assume you just park at your own leisure.
They have life jackets and puddle jumpers available to use
No dress code on swim wear. Just keep in mind all ages are there.
Great Wolf Lodge has locations around the country. Prices vary based on time of year and the package/options you choose. Detailed information is available on their website.
No. Just endless activities. You can bring an older kid to run around the place with the small ones though.
I am not sure ... but if so, you will need to acquire youthwork paperwork because you are under 16
It's cheaper to stay depending how many are going.
No,I would suggest buying stuff beforehand, they have fridges in the room,we did sandwiches and stuff to microwave
Restaurant buffet is very good also there is food inside the waterpark decently priced and there is pizza on the 1 floor by the mini golf
You can use the water park the whole day off check in even before your room is ready. And the whole day you check out. You just have to leave your stuff in the car
No.
Fruity was right .. in addition to that with single night stay you can enjoy the water park for two days
No it is not, not the commercially available cup type
If you're staying overnight, the waterpark pass is included with your stay. If you're not staying, as long you dont get in the water (they look for wristbands) you don't need to buy a waterpark pass
I do not know
The rooms are not so bad, its the little items that can add up. Ie: wands, dinner etc. Still far less expensive than some of these other places and has a family feel unlike kalahari
Do that have shallow pools
Yes - the day that you come as well as the day that you leave so for every night that you have you technically have two days at the waterpark. Even if you check out the next day that same day you're still allowed to use the water park for the entire day and they have lockers where you can put your things and showers downstairs at the waterpark.
I'm unsure. On their website you can instantly message a customer service rep and they reply immediately. That's how we had all of our questions answered before or visit. https://www.greatwolf.com/
I work there i word just call u will hav a better chance at finding out sorry would
The Orange slide
They serve baked goods if that's what you're asking. As for a stand alone bakery, i don't believe they do.
No
If you're asking about electric car charging, no, I didn't see one
Yes
No
Yes, there's a diner right outside to your right and if you keep going down that road there are more restaurants. There's even a shopping center with Chili's & other places if you continue further down.
You can't go just for the day. You have to stay over at least one night. A one night stay price could be anywhere from $250 to $400, depending on what kind of discounts you can find. Also those prices don't include any food, only the room and the waterpark.
Every time you go to great wolf lodge they give you a room. They have different rooms that cost different prices. You would have to look up the room you want and it's price. You can also stay at the waterpark before check-in time and after check-out time.
Yes but it best to book before hand get a better discount
There is one in Pennsylvania and then they have other locations found on there website.
You get as many badges as the room can accommodate. My last trip netted 6 passes. If you need more it is $50
Yes
Depends on traffic and time of day last time took me a 35 minutes.
David i was eith my family and sidharth i did a little
Depends on when you book. The base resort fees are included in the cost of the room.
23 bucks to 25 bucks just the functional want then another 15 to 20 bucks for the toppers to make them look nice and then to play the game it's an extra fee all in all its best to get the 100 dollar package
A mini fridge, but it's not too tiny
No they don't.
All one building, just very gimmicky and food is terrible
John Jacob Jingleheimer-Schmidt
Yes
Indeed yes..adults & minors are different prices
Yes
It depends on the room you choose. Some rooms do have bunk beds. Check the website for different room choices.
Some rooms have a loft, call and reserve. Limited availability.!! Three Queen Beds, Two Baths, Pull out double also.... Another type of room has a seperate King in one room (private) two Queen and a double pull out. Others have bunk beds.... Pull up the site, Full description available!
No pet aloud
it depends what room you get cause there are different kinds
It is an amazing family environment! The water park is only available for the people that are staying in the hotel. I hope this was helpful
Yes they can, call the front desk to double check but i know for a fact they have wheelchairs available
I want to say like $50 bucks or something like that I read it somewhere during my stay there
Call the Lodge directly
I don't think so. We have both and didn't get one. Just cheaper sun-thurs
Buses do come to the area however they will not take you to the lodge. You would either have to get a cab (Pocono Cab Co.) or find another way to get to the lodge. The lodge may be willing to send a shuttle or car... not sure but worth the ask. Great place for a family vacation.
And make sure you take advantage of ordering your stay 60 days in advance so it becomes 1/2 price for the room
East Gourmet Buffet is about a 10 min drive from Great Wolf. Right on Rt 611. The same as Great Wolf. They are a Chinese buffet reasonably priced. There are other places to eat along. 611 like Friendlies,The Scotrun Diner,Palumbo as well as many others
Havent gone with a group large enough to need more than 2 rooms but it wouldn't hurt to call and find out. Good luck. The kids (4-10 yrs old) will love it.
Kalahari is much better for that age
There is no way to buy a ticket, you are only allowed to go to the water park if tou stay at the property. However, your stay includes the water park tickets.
Please log onto great wolf lodge and you can see exactly what the rates are for your selected date. There are several locations so pick the one you want.
I know but call and information always help them get on board with this
Yes. They close the outdoor pool and ropes course and have holiday themed lobby. They also have real snowflakes fall , Santa claus, a gingerbread house you can dine in , cookie decorating, and other themed activities.
I did the basic 30 minute aromatherapy massage, although they have an hour long package too along with many different packages. The one I had cost $55, and considering she got tension knots out that I've had for years I gave $20 as gratuity even though they suggest 20%.
Great Wolf, Camelback and Kalahari are all great. Any of those 3 will be fun.
To depends on the time of year. You pay by the type of room and a room is for 4 people. There are 3 levels of rooms.
