If I'm the only one in the family NOT getting in the water do I still have to pay for that attraction ?

If you're staying overnight, the waterpark pass is included with your stay. If you're not staying, as long you dont get in the water (they look for wristbands) you don't need to buy a waterpark pass

Are you staying at the resort? I believe the water park is included if you are a hotel guest.
