While the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice, there were plenty of issues with the room. I had reserved a king bed room months ago and was told at check-in that they were out of king rooms. The a/c did not function properly and it was never a comfortable temperature. The mattresses need to be flipped (there were two doubles in the room and both were deeply indented on the sides closest to the nightstand). The woodwork, drapes, light switches, sofa, etc all were dirty. The floor was not clean either (bring your socks or slippers!). And the bathroom ceiling had hair stuck to it along with large areas of peeling paint and the wallpaper was coming off the walls. All that said - the location is excellent, the convenience of breakfast and coffee is a huge plus, and again, the staff were very nice.

Everything was very close and a walkable distance. The breakfast buffet was good. The front desk was very kind. I really only had 2 issues. 1 being that the pool was too small compared to the size of the hotel. The second is that the phone didn’t work so I had to go to the front desk to ask for an extra blanket. They were very kind at the front desk, but when they dropped it off, they were very rude. However, my overall experience was positive.

We had a great stay at the Embassy Suites. The location was great and the staff were friendly. The rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the breakfast options and the complimentary drinks were very nice! We were able to walk or get transportation very easily. We were able to find slightly more affordable parking very close the hotel. The hotel is a bit outdated and the elevators were slow. Overall, a great stay and we will definitely be back for another visit!

Our family had a great time here, it's a safe and friendly place with great staff. The breakfast is really good. The location is perfect, right across from a Whole Foods and sandwiched between the Magnificent Mile and the Navy Pier which you can walk to, even with kids in the day time. Walk to Gino's East pizza, it's so good! The pool can be busy at times but empty at others and it has a nice sauna room. I recommend parking in the basement, you'll have in and out privileges. It takes 3 elevators to get to your room but you'll quickly get used to it. When going to the museums, I recommend driving rather than taking the Red Line L train.

You don't have to park at the hotel parking. There is a huge public parking lot a minute away
They do not have a shuttle to the airport. The blue line of the CTA is what I used.
Theresa, vegan friendly....would not trust that. On the opposite side of this motel you have Whole Foods Market, much better choice. I did not eat well on this so called hotel. Very very disappointed.
I encourage you to use the Spothero app. You can usually get parking at 50% cheaper than the local garage rates. The garage one block over on Ohio you can get for 48 hours through the app for $50. We stayed at Embassy Suites two weekends ago and parked there.
Yes
Pool closed no breakfast buffet but they do have breakfast to go packages. And no happy hours drinks.
I am totally not sure but you might want to call and check with the front desk
Standard hotel pool size. Not sure the exact size. Short laps
The only way I've found is through the parking garage
I think elevator goes to 17, but only 10 floors of suites. Lower floors are lobby, pool, bar, etc.
You can come and go without paying extra. That said, you are in walking distance to the pier or Uber is cheap. Don't bother trying to park near the pier.
It's a leisurely walk of about 20 minutes, you can get there in about 14 and 15 if you walk quickly. I found it to be pleasantly close, straight down the street.
Agreed, call hotel.
Yes. There are both.
No
Although the hotel pictures show one, it's been removed. There is no hot tub.
I got directions from the front desk. It was within walking distance. They provided a map. It's called the blue line and takes you directly to the airport.
Breakfast is back, no the happy hour yet.
I didn't check but as far as I know it's still closed.
