Outstanding hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms. Outstanding service from check in to check out. A special shout out to Gwen who is the concierge at the hotel. She helped with planning and made a booking for us. She was extremely friendly and our group looked forward to seeing her in the morning and starting our day on the right foot. Positive energy!

Very plush room, upmarket atmosphere. Staff was professional and accommodating. Important to note if you are driving, there is no garage attached to the hotel. I highly recommend the valet option with the rooms. It is easily a 1/3 mile or more from the garage to the lobby and depending on the weather/time of day it can be stressful. I had a corner room so great views of the city. I wasn’t high enough for lake views but I will be sure to do that next time. Very nice gym and pool which weren’t too crowded at 7:30 am. It was only breakfast, but the restaurant in the hotel was good.

Great location and staff! We got a suite that could fit 5 of us which was comfortable. Everything was clean, staff was cheerful, and helpful. Loved that there was a Starbucks in the hotel. Gym and pool were great. My kids liked that there were pets allowed so we could pet them when we saw them in the lobby. Couldn't ask for more.

I had never stayed with one of these locations before, so I'm glad that our organization picked this for our hotel block. The location lives up to the reputation. The interior is well designed, and contains some modern features in addition to some classic details. There is a restaurant in a Starbucks inside, once you check your parking, you can come in and out of the lot which was huge for us, and it is right across from a number of really key locations at the University of Chicago which we were visiting. If I need to be back in the area again, I would definitely consider returning. The staff is also super friendly considering we showed up close to midnight.

The Loews by the fashion outlet is a different one.
No there's a beverage fridge that's full. My understanding is that you have to pay extra and can request one in your room.
Navy Pier is fun for the kids with a nice children's museum.
Yes I called ahead of time let them know I was coming in earlier and if my room would be ready sooner
Hi Madeline, ETA is the name of our restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. This would indicate a charge for a meal or beverages in the restaurant. This does not mean "Edited to Add". Please let us know if we can assist with anything else. Thank you!
Hi Trey, Our mattresses are the Tivoli Collection Luxury Plush Euro Pillowtop by Stearns and Foster. Any store that sells Sealy Mattress should be able to place an order for you. Let us know if we can help in any way. Thank you, Loews Chicago
The city of Chicago! I'm sure there's entertainment somewhere.
Valet is about $70 a night, so if you can find on street parking I would recommend it.
Valet parking, they sometimes offer packages that include valet parking. You can also park yourself, but I'm sure there is a fee for that.
Hi Monica, The Shops at North Bridge is the closest mall to the hotel. However there are dozens and dozens of shops that line Michigan Avenue, all of which are in walking distance from the hotel. Let us know if we can help with anything else. Thank you!
Sorry don't remember. My room definitely did not have one.
Hello Jocelyn, We have a total of 400 rooms in the hotel. Please let us know if we can assist with any other questions. Best regards, Christian Hansen General Manager
The architecture boat tour is in walking distance. Night is spectactular
Probably the high end suites, but I don't think you will have capability to cook meal from scratch.
I don't know for certain, but would expect not. Be aware that it is on the 3rd floor, and the hotel continues up well past that. In other words, the view is overlooking Ogden Park, facing the back of the NBC building and a short stretch of the Chicago River, not a sweeping panorama of the city.
