Was here for the 'Blame Canada Tour'.. first time here and it was pretty good, definitely had a blast. Little crowded but I feel it added to the experience. Bathrooms were spotless though! Definitely would go back for the right event.

Not my first visit to this venue with so much character and interesting detail in architecture, which ultimately creates exactly the mood for an actual theater. A very apt venue actually, for the magnificent Bruce Dickinson, who is extremely theatrical:) !! His hilarious account of his life from school days through to his Iron Maiden touring days. I almost missed this show but am extremely grateful that I was able to finally see this legend...in the flesh! Update: Also seen Crobot, Danzig, Cradle of Filth here too recently. They were not strict about masks...tickets had to be saved on phone for scanning( no screesnhots). The venue has different levels and many nooks and corners. The bathrooms are clean and the staff are helpful for seat finding. There are drink available but no food items. The seats are close and narrow so just heads up if you're like me and appreciate some space;) I chose balcony for this reason. The upper levels also provide a more panoramic viewing experience than from below.

We came from Missouri to see Tommy Cash and the venue was very nice. Loudness of music was perfect, lighting was nice and the show was amazing. My only complaint is not about the venue it's self, but the tall men that crowded the front of the stage. I'm all for living in the moment and not through a phone screen, but if it wasn't for my phone I wouldn't of gotten to see the performance. I had to hold my phone around a lumbering giant so I could see what was happening on stage, got many nice shots of an arm throughout the night. But it's not a problem the venue can control. We had a blast and will definitely be back if any of our other favorite musicians perform here.

Beautiful venue, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. The Uptown felt like another time period of days gone by. So glad we finally got to see it and enjoy a show! Big Head Todd and The Monsters sounded great!!

All you've gotta do is call the main number. It's a case by case scenario.
Yes you can
Yes, or online as others have said. You can call the Uptown office for details.
We currently do not sell food for concerts, only private events.
There is a parking lot directly north of the theater.
We have free parking across the street in the Uptown Shoppes parking lot. There are a few handicap spots.
To pick up someone else’s will call tickets, they will need to send you a copy of their photo ID (a picture on a phone is fine). Have them cover up sensitive data such as their address in the picture, as long as the rest of the ID (including your name and a photo) are visible. We can accept this as authorization for you to pick up tickets under their name. Thanks for supporting live music, and we hope to see you at a future show!
The 2020 show was officially cancelled. If you purchased your ticket from Ticketmaster, refunds were issued, if you purchased tickets at our box office, you will need to come in with your tickets for a refund. You will have to purchase tickets for the 2021 show as your tickets will not transfer. If you need assistance checking on your refund from Ticketmaster, please reach out: http://uptowntheater.com/contact/
I do not have Erasures policy’s yet. Artists usually send those to us a day or two before the show. Most artist do not allow cameras other than cell phones.
That was Davey’s Uptown not Uptown Theater. Thanks for checking!!
Once the brown bear stops
Not sure in Florida 😀😎
You're going to get the same kind of security check that you would get at any music venue these days. Purses and bags are going to be searched and if you're under age you're not going to be able to buy alcohol.
Varies with artist, usually in the back bar.
Don't know you will have to call them.
Yes but you will always be better off using website before you drive and park to find out sold out or only seats you don't want
Yes
Generally, no.
Typically about an hour before Showtime
yes you can enter
Highly doubtful. We have seen him many time and never an opening act. Now that we are here, No opening act just as in the past. Stage is set for an evening with The Alan Parsons Live Project. We are un for a treat in a theater setting. Enjoy.
Like Christopher said It's easier to order online and you might even find the tickets cheaper by searching the concert/ event itself and comparing different sights prices. Know the concert I recently attended there was cheaper through another sight than going directly through Uptown's sight.
Thx all for responding
Nothing is within walking distance of Uptown that I know of. You'll need to stay either down by the Plaza or downtown KC.
Not sure they do however, you can call the office number and they could tell you.
The official answer is yes, you can bring it in. But no to vapeing inside. The not so official answer is if you aren't obvious about it, no one will say anything.
Smallish bags, and purses. All bags and persons are subject to being wended with the handheld metal detectors and bags searched. No pepper spray, knives, guns or ammo, no belt chains. Take all the pictures and video you want, but make sure the flash is off while the artist is on stage. The flash will blind them.
According to Ticketmaster, general admission is $25.
An hour before the show, unless the artist has an issue
Based on the production.
The age for events vary with each event it is best to check the website for accurate verification.
Usually an hour after the show starts.
Usually an hour before the show.
Park in the shopping center parking lot, but In the slots closest to the Uptown. If they are all full the shopping center has a multi level parking area. (Free) It's closer to the shopping area but you only have to walk across the parking lot to get to the Uptown. *WARNING* If the stores are still open and you park to close to them they can tow your car. Does not apply to the multi level lot.
