I have seen 3 productions in the last six weeks. All three were top notch. Don't let the small intimate setting fool you. This is the best and the issues the plays address are relevant to our world. Last weekend I sat through 2 three hour shows of The Inheritance (parts 1 & 2). They engaged us for the six hours. Not a dry eye at the end of the second night. This is what theater does. This is what the Unicorn does.

The Unicorn is a vital part of the KC theater scene. I am proud to be a season ticket holder. Their shows are typically cutting edge and unique yet the quality is top-notch. They recruit great local talent. It often feels intimate and there isn’t a bad seat in either theater. Highly recommend seeing a show there!

My wife and I have seen every show for the last 10 years. We love this theatre and Cynthia's show selections! There have definitely been some uncomfortable ones but never a bad performance. Keep 'em coming!

This place is great. Cool shows, great casts, perfectly simple sets. The seats are a little tight, but the building can only be so big at this location. The bar queue takes a bit too long, but a lot of that comes from the audience/customers. I've never had or seen any problems here (starting too late, missing cues or stage marks, etc.).

Call the theater and ask for Cynthia Levin
Generally not at this theater. These plays are cutting edge, thought provoking, some showing for the first time anywhere. For DRAG shows, try Hamburger Mary's on Broadway.
No age discrimination at the Unicorn all tickets are the same
