WOW WOW WOW. I was absolutely stunned by the performance of Dracula. This was my first experience seeing a Ballet and my first time going to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts I've seen plays in NYC on Broadway and the KC play did NOT disappoint. I highly recommend going to a play or ballet in Kansas City at the Kauffman Center while in town.

Great staff, very modern facility, though the bars could use a couple more bartenders, to enhance the movement of those in line. Disappointed to see a few attendees wearing shorts and tennis shoes; should have had atleast long pants on. Paring under the facility was only $10, very easy, clean, and safe. The KC Symphony was very impressive.

We saw Tosca and the perfomance was great. The venue is excellent. You have a good view, no matter where you're seated.

I would highly recommend attending an event here. The KC symphony is by far one of the most talented symphonies I have ever heard, and the halls in which they play make the sound really pop. The parking is fairly easy to get in and out of, but for if any reason you have troubles maneuvering your way through the Kauffman Center, there are plenty of friendly and helpful staff to help you along the way. There is also a wonderful gift shop as well as some areas for concessions. The generous staff, the creative snacks and gifts, and the wonderful music were the main reasons why my trip to the Kauffman Center was made a little extra special this year as my family and I enjoyed a nice outing on Christmas Eve.

Hi Teri. Their website shows Mahler's Seventh is January 26-28. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8pm and the Sunday performance is at 2pm. I hope that helps.
Yes, everybody needs s ticket, even under 3.
It's always expected to tip the valet, as they are hourly employees and it's uncommon for them to get a percentage of the valet fee. $3-$5 is standard.
https://www.kauffmancenter.org/events-tickets/ticket-policy/ Buy tickets through the Kauffman Center Box Office or the presenting organization.
I would also suggest because ticketmaster and other sites wont lwt you do that but i would say if you call you might be able to do it that way or go down there yourself but that might be a waste of time
If they are still available.
No, Hamilton is playing at the Music Hall in Kansas City
The first two hours of each event. You can also go during the day when the center is open.
That's what we suspect happened - program lists 3 male and 3 female lead dancers - they can switch as needed - starting lead dancer disappeared before half way through - and we also looked to see if he would be in the curtain call - and he wasn't.
Best to call the box office.
Nearest airport is downtown. Mostly charter service. MCI is the passenger airport, around 20 miles away, it is available using Uber or Lyft. Busses also ride a route to the airport.
Recently went to Sinatra and friends show. The curtains were there also and the acoustics were spot on.
Call box office. you might have to pick them up at the will call desk.
It closed once for an afternoon concert. We couldn't make it to the symphony because of a snow storm. The box office was helpful in rescheduling our tickets for a different symphony performance.
We got there for the Sound of Music about 40 minutes early. Which seemed to be plenty of time to use the restrooms if needed. And then find our seats. They didn't open the doors to the theater until a half hour before showtime.
What time do the doors open to get in today at 1
Not sure. Give them a call.
Yes along ot on street parking.
I don't believe there's a particular waiting area.
Uber there all the time. Doris Day parking/drop off
I don't understand the question. 😊
Here is Google Map. Kauffman Staffs would not come here to answer questions. You better call the center directly or call the group you wish to join directly~
Thank you for reaching out with your question. Door to the center generally open about 2 hours prior to the event, but the box office is open 90 minutes prior. Door to the theater for seating will open 30 minutes prior to the show start. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any further questions. Best, Sarah Milosevich Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
