I stayed in Peartree Apartments for over two years, and I had a fantastic stay. It had a great location, newly remodeled apartments, and reasonable pricing. Chantel and Rafael were also particularly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Thanks for the stay!

Too much noisy apartment and every day construction work is going on. Wfh is literally impossible out here. Either there will grass blower or some construction is going on every day. They also do water shut down without sending any notice. Guest parking is taken up by construction trucks. In case of emergency maintenance they want the residents to put work order even when the bathroom is over flowing with water! The earlier management were good but after the change of management the construction, water shutdown and maintenance are pathetic. Try to avoid this apartment if possible.

If you are looking for a living experience that could lead you to collecting disability benefits - this place is for you. That is what I thought as I watched one of the construction boxes left precariously unattended, slide off an apartment building roof at night. Lived here summer 2018-2019 and majority of the time was dealing with disruptive construction on the parking lot cover, around the pool, cutting down trees, and inside the apartment replacing windows. The leasing agents were incompetent. Ok I do have some pros: nice maintenance manager, layout of the 1-bed and proximity to DT Sunnyvale.

I lived at the Pear Tree for over four years. During that time I've seen leasing managers change a couple of times. I would have to give the women who ran the Pear Tree 5 stars. They were friendly and fun. Every year they had a BBQ for residents, plus Xmas parties. The apartment wasn't state of the art, but it was roomy. Parking was fine. The big negative was immigrant tech types who had loud parties well past 11 PM. They also yell a lot until I told them to shut up. Otherwise, the air is incredible and they have a beautiful well maintained pool.
