I moved from a “luxury” apartment to Brookside Oaks and I vastly prefer Brookside. Modern apartments are nice but I really like the garden community style. Robin and Daisy are awesome! They’re both very nice and accommodating. I love that the reserved parking is close to my apartment and maintenance is fast and courteous! Plus, being close to a small shopping center has been very convenient. And my dog enjoys basking by the large windows and exploring the greenery on his walks. My rating is 4 stars because there is more noisy renovation going on than expected and there were a few times we didn’t have running water in an 8 month period. Once, the water was out for over 24 hours and the main office gave out food and water. Every other occurrence has been much shorter. There are children around so sometimes I hear them screaming when I am in a meeting, class, taking a test, and doing other important things that require silence. Also, spiders. If you hate them then don’t live creekside. The spiders have been a little annoying and so have the silverfish but it’s nothing crazy. I wish the tree branches were cut farther back from the balconies so that I wouldn’t get as many leaves or spiders on my patio. Overall, I consider these issues to be small. Overall I’d say it’s a really nice, mostly quiet, convenient, comfortable place to live with a good amount of privacy and the units are spacious.

Daisy, the leasing specialist, is super friendly and did a phenomenal job answering all our questions about the apartments and the community. It’s my gf and I first time apartment hunting so we have a ton of questions about the application process, the lease etc and Daisy was very patient and knowledgeable about all aspects. She is quick to respond to texts and emails and has talked to us on the phone many times to provide clarity throughout the process. It is so refreshing to know that there is someone at the property that cares so much about the community. Thank you Daisy for making the apartment hunting process very easy and stress-free! Also for anyone reading previous negative reviews about the property management, the community manager has changed. Robyn, the new community manager, has been very friendly and helpful. She has been very accommodating with our request to see extra floor plans, details etc. She is also quick to respond to our calls, texts, and emails, and is extremely organized! Out of the 20+ places that we visited during our apartment hunt, Brookside Oaks stands out because of their amazing staff!

After 3 years of being here, I'm finally ready to share my review of this place. It's a disaster. The quality of the apartments is really low, I lived in 2 different units and both are pretty bad. The first one didn't have enough sun light, was dark and humid all year long. The second one is better but old, there is no hot water in one of the bathroom sinks and my maintenance request to look at it was simply ignored. On top of that, today I found out that my bike was stolen and there are no cameras onsite to prevent or investigate the incident. Neighbors also report stolen mail and delivery. Very disappointed.
