Safety is a big issue in this community. Our bikes were stolen brazenly from patio. Rampant theft of packages (as reported by the leasing office themselves). Doesn't feel safe to open window blinds or patio doors. There is a courtesy patrol for namesake (the very presence of a courtesy patrol should ring alarm bells). This is not a gated community and there are no security cameras in the community - not even at the entrance / exit of the community.

While I have a extremely good overall impression of this apartment complex, recently, safety has become a major concern for me. It's NOT an access controlled complex. I've had 3 packages stolen in the last 2 weeks alone, including one just today itself. I called the UPS and they re-sent the driver, to help me locate the package, who came to my apartment and informed that he had delivered the package right on the front door of my home. The package was stolen within an hour of delivery! Unbelievable! If only there were more cameras in the complex, they could have helped at least identify the persons stealing the packages. At this stage, the safety is a major critical issue here. If packages are being stolen, there won't be long before car and apartment break-ins start happening. Extremely sad to see this going on here, it's such a great apartment to live if not for this issue.
