There's 6ft distance and mask mandate. There is nothing that you really touch or share, so nothing really needs to be wiped down. Although I am pretty sure they wipe everything clean once they open for the day
I just had a very similar situation and got mine patched for free (after a four hour wait). Of course it's not always possible to patch. It has to be in the middle of the tread, the said. I'm not sure what would have happened if they couldn't patch it.
You can call Costco tire centre and confirm. Costco does carry most models for Michelin tires
