I spent two nights downtown for the Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup parade etc. The location was perfect, the room (Deluxe, King, City view) was clean and spacious and the reception staff were so helpful. A special shout out to one of the cleaning crew 'Cresta' who went out of her way to help me even though she wasn't designated to look after my side of the building. Thank you, as I really appreciated it. The only real downer was on the morning of June 30 I had to wait 50 minutes in the V'S Lounge to get my breakfast as they must have been under staffed or something. The next morning was only 35 minutes.

From the moment we walked into the hotel after a late flight, the atmosphere was off. A dark shut down barren coffee bar loomed over the entire left side of the lobby, and the two late night staff members had an annoyed tone in their voice. When I asked if there were any high floor rooms available, one of them quipped ‘not for me because I just have a traditional room’. I disregarded the comment and asked for a quiet room for a good nights sleep. I was placed next to an elevator shaft on the 7th floor which is audibly noisy and makes it difficult to sleep, and the mini fridge in the room made a loud whirring sound, didn’t keep items cold, and is obviously end of life. The sheets had a strange smell the first night, and I had to request housekeeping multiple times the next day until they replaced with fresh sheets at 3PM. The pool was open and fairly heated though it was over chlorinated and made my skin itch. The gym was nice but small for the hotel size, and the coffee bar is only open until 10:30. Staff seemed programmed to recommend the Starbucks down the street. At least the food is good and service from bartenders was also expedient. The only consolation I received after a calm discussion with hotel management is a $25 voucher the next morning due to being unable to change my room to quieter location. This is not the service I expect from the Westin brand or a hotel of this caliber. If my stay was longer than two nights I would have walked out to another hotel and charged back on my card. The closest acknowledgement and validation of my concerns was a manager apologizing that they overbooked some large groups which created difficulties. I have a one week stay coming up at a Westin in Santa Ana, and I am now nervous about the overall QC of the brand. How does a hotel with 430 rooms fully book every other option including paid upgrades? After spending $700 for the most basic room for two nights, I’m baffled how my accommodation was handled.

From the time my son and I arrived we felt very welcomed. The front desk gave us an early check in, and king size bed with a great view, and on the same level as the pool and fitness. The Young bartender last night was awesome very friendly, and as a bright future as a bar tender. The only problem I had was the rude lady at the coffee shop on the lobby level. She got the order wrong and became rude., when I told her. Other then that the stay was very warm

So frustrated by our experience at this Westin! On top of the rooms being very dated like most people have mentioned, the amenities were not clean. Our robe had footprints on them, the shower was scalding hot only, and the towels were tearing/coming apart. We called downstairs to ask for tissues and slippers 3 times over the course of 2 hours, and the reception finally admitted that she “forgot to submit the request.” The staff finally brought over only the tissues that we asked for, and we had to ask them again for the slippers. Pretty lacking in amenities and service for a normally good brand hotel - very disappointing.

Valet is 45 on site is 35. I used spot hero for a 90 second walk and only $12 for the whole weekend!
There's one on 17th and pearl called Livewell, next to a gas station. It's a couple blocks north of colfax and pearl.
Does not depend on status. I am Titanium and 4 PM is checkin time, but did get in by 3:30 with lots of negotiating. For suites this is there standard no matter who you are. Also, checkout is 11 am and could only negotiate to 12. So they are burning Elite members at both ends.
Best hotels for short walk to convention center are Hyatt, Curtis, Embassy Suites and Hilton Garden Inn. This one is a good hike but closer to union station and 16th street mall free shuttle.
Its legal bru
It does for guests only
Yes but it was under construction in december i would call to make sure its open again.
Agreed
A couple of restaurants, but no shopping Inside the Hotel. Lots of shopping within just a few blocks.
Yes they're very pet friendly
You can easily get to and from the airport using the train (A Line). I believe the hotel can help you get to and from the train station or guide you how to.
