Courtyard by Marriott Denver Central Park

This place has the feel of a hotel that used to be nice. The rooms feel dirty and old. Their snack shop had no water so they expected guests to drive or ride share to get some or drink the nasty Denver water from the Bistro. Walking is not an option as there is nothing close and the hotel is surrounded by homeless camps. I asked why they couldn't just got get a couple cases from WalMart that's just down the road and I was told "corporate is very strict on that and doesn't really care." Also, I have not stayed in a hotel in probably 5 years that didnt have USB charge points until I stayed here.

Friendly staff were the only nice thing about this hotel. It's nowhere near the standard I'd expect from a courtyard. First room full of stains, beat up furniture, moths, and poorly cleaned. Room we got moved to was better, but still not great. In dire need of a remodel. Wouldn't stay again and makes me skeptical of all courtyards if this is what Marriott allows.

I booked thru priceline n booked another night to extend my stay but they told me they were full even tho they clearly were not! They were very rude I can't believe Marriott would hav such rude staff! I stay Marriott hotels often n have never seen the staff be so unfriendly.

Positive: It was so clean and smelled fresh!! Negative: Location was not great. Right in the midst of construction, what looked like landfill, and hotel was surrounded by homeless community. Not hotel¿s fault but not ideal, guess it¿s just Denver.
