A couple minutes outside of Blackhawk, this trail makes for a refreshing end to a BlackHawk trip. Great parking area with restrooms and trailhead. Has both easy and moderate trails. Lots of old remnants for mining decades ago. Signs of wildlife all around. A little close to the highway so you get a bit of car noise, but still a really good hike!

Great, kid friendly trail. Nice views of Black Hawk. Only complaint... too many fast mountain bikers who come up fast down the trail.

Super nice having an actual paved and large parking lot, trails were super easy to follow, mainly melted with a few patches of ice and snow, but great views of Blackhawk.
