Fantastic hike! Only one building and area with strong petroglyphs. Fun rock scrambles, tight squeeze in one area, lots of stairs. Great "hard" hike. Awesome caves and places with shade in the beginning if you start by going down into the valley from the museum.

Decent hike in terms of the actual walking and terrain, but the views as you walk and the ultimate payoff in terms of the petroglyphs are a little underwhelming. Better hiking options elsewhere in the park

I loved this trail! I started early and saw nobody on trail at all. What a trail to experience the echoes of the ancestors who lived there.

Two hours hike with a 11 years old. Memorable and just about right length and technicality.

Questions & Answers

would be trail be too difficult carrying a baby in a hiking backpack?

There are some spots where you squeeze between rock formations, and some steeper rock steps . If the baby carrier fits close to your body and you are an experienced hiker it should be manageable.
