This is a nice little park that’s mostly kept well and has a track that goes around the lake with markers for counting your miles. It also has an average play area, basketball court, pickle-ball court, and the only AARP installed outdoor fitness area in Florida. It is also confirmed to have otters, gator(s?), cranes, and various other wild life. The only downside is it has a bit of a homeless problem. It isn’t the worst but they often gather and sleep by the pickleball court at night and make the gazebo on the water dirty and often sleep out there making others uncomfortable to walk out there. But hey, everyone needs a place to sleep.

My wife and I lived here from 2010-2017 and had no complaints. We enjoyed living here. The staff was phenomenal. The only reason we left was to move across the bridge to Tampa.

The place is absolutely beautiful. I like how they help those with financial restrictions with a program assistance. I don't like that they request a lot from those who don't meet the financial restrictions guidelines, but still would like to live there. You will pay a lot per applicant before you can even get considered for the property. Should be a balance.

I've been living at Booker Creek since they were built. I've seen staff come and go, I miss Randy and Ralph, but I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Sara is the first face you see and she has always been polite. She left for awhile and I'm glad she's back. And Sabra, the manager, is always helpful with a smile on her face. She even helped me find my key fob on the property after her work hours. The location is a perfect spot.
