Requiring a booster to be "fully vaccinated" is not only unethical but also against what the CDC says. You should adapt your policies to be in line with the CDC and government. You cannot keep FULLY vaccinated folks masked, especially indefinitely. Currently from their site: "The definition of FULLY vaccinated has not changed and DOES NOT INCLUDE THE BOOSTER SHOT. Everyone is still considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-shot series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as the J&J/Janssen vaccine."

During Covid-19 the rec center was closed. Totally unstable do to the circumstances. The problem that I've faced is them being unwilling to refund any of our money (we paid upfront as is required) for the nearly 4 months that the center was not open. In addition, when they reopened the times that are available to be "reserved" do not coincide with any normal 9-5 job, making the facility completely unusable for the majority of the people that pay for it and expect it to be available for them to use.

Weight room layout is very poor and doesn't make sense. There is a little cardio/weight room area in the hallway that has no mirror. Most weight rooms at least have mirrors to check form. Staff does not enforce rules that should be enforced (i.e. not allowing people to bring their babies in strollers into the weight room--yes, people do that) but chooses to enforce rules that are not listed. I've seen staff tell a couple of people not to move things into different rooms. This seems odd, because each room is so ill equipped, that people need to move things into different rooms just to get in a normal workout. Maybe the association should work on better equipping the gym. Gym is EXTREMELY crowded from 4:30-7pm, which is normal BUT there is barely any space for anyone to move around. Should consider expanding the weight room. Not to mention the stair master machine, which I see people frequently use, looks like it is about to fall apart and is from the 80s. The one time I tried it, I was genuinely scared it was going to break on me. I had a friend who said he emailed them a year ago about the machine, but of course, nothing has been changed. Wouldn't go to this gym, but I technically pay for it through HOA fees, so might as well. Also noticed that staff turnover is very high. Note that the hours are pretty awful too. Only opened until 7 pm Fridays and 9p.m. Mon-Thurs. Weekends are significantly less.

We are wondering how many Mt. Park residents have noticed the complete deterioration of our open spaces, walkways, parking lots, entrance gardens and parks. One would have to have walked these areas we have mentioned for a number of years as we have to realize the severity of the problems faced by this community. The once beautiful community of Mt. Park looks like an overgrown and abandoned property. If one walks off the beaten path of roads, parking lots etc., one will notice weeds, undergrowth out of control, paths encroached by blackberry vines and dead branches . We have lived here for 23 years and we are appalled and worried. From what we can tell, NO maintenance has been done in months and month. We have heard that a "skeleton" crew has been doing work. Skeleton? Why? Our HOA dues, in part, cover the maintenance of facilities including outdoor assets. We would like to suggest that concerned homeowners do two things: get out and walk the pathways and common areas and go to a board meeting and report your observations to the manager of the HOA and the board members. We plan to. Our home values depend, in part upon the appearance of our community. William and Mary Goss
