Been here for over a year now, and while it started off great, living here is no longer worth the monthly rent. Car break-ins are a regular occurrence, and full-blown car thefts are unfortunately on the rise as well. Management response to the uptick in criminal activity has been minimal to say the least. On top of that, the package room (which was a major factor in choosing this complex in the first place) has been completely removed so now every time I receive a package, I get to play a ~fun~ game of will it be at my front door, by the mail room, in the lobby, or nowhere to be found at all?! Haven't even gotten to the fact that there is CONSTANTLY an elevator or garage not working. Seriously. I don't think this building has had 100% fully functioning elevators and garage doors in months! All of that to say, I'm the dummy who went ahead and renewed my lease despite the red flags and RENT INCREASE. It has since become clear that at best, Equity will continue to send cut-and-paste responses and drag their feet on the actionable things they COULD be doing to address resident concerns. I absolutely would not rent here if given the choice again.

This place has literally been a nightmare to live at. Constantly car theft multiple times a week and it’s been going on for month, few residents even had their whole car stolen even after they supposedly added on more security guard. Mail packages is constantly missing and stolen ever since they took away the package room. One out of three elevator is constantly broken. Multiple residents have said they even had their door locked messed with in the middle of the night! Recently the front door entrance got broken into and completely shattered. Look for the photo somebody posted. Management does nothing and has yet to resolve any issues besides painting the hallway walls. Like really???? On top of that they’re trying to raise rent prices like crazy. I would not wish anybody to live at a place like this.

(9/30/2021): Maintenance is slow, I have been waiting over 2 months for a new dishwasher. Elevators are constantly broken (one has been out of service for over 6 weeks). The Luxor package room service is gone, hallways are lined with boxes or packages are thrown into a large pile near the front office that you have to sort through. Car break-ins are happening nightly in our "locked and secured" garage. Managements office hours have been reduced and now they are not even here some days. For a billion dollar management company, this is unacceptable. Drastic changes are needed before I recommend anyone sign a lease to live here. Edit (11/1/2021): The response I got from management below told me to contact their "resident relations" team. I did and got an initial response from them, and was then promptly ignored. It's been about 2 weeks since I have heard from them. Edit (1/26/2022): My car was broken into this past weekend and I had my belongings stolen, along with many others. I also STILL don't have my new dishwasher I was promised 6 months ago. Management never replied to any follow up emails I sent either. Nothing notable has changed here since my initial post. Moving out at the end of my lease. Do not rent here.

When we moved into Versailles in august of 21 I thought we had found the perfect spot, but since then this apartment has quickly gone down hill. The package room that was listed as an amenity is now gone so now we have to make sure one of us is home when packages arrive so it won’t get stolen. Our mail was stopped right before Christmas. Multiple cars have been outright stolen and countless more have been broken into. Everyday I fear the worst and wonder if I will be able to get to work reliably. There are no cameras in the garages to combat theft. This apartment really does not care if your property is stolen or even if you are harmed quite honestly. This community went from quiet to dangerous, and it’s a target for criminal activity (the recently shattered front door is an example of that) I specifically found a place with a gated parking garage so I could feel safe walking to and from my car at night. This is not a place where you feel safe and it’s not a place anyone should rent.
